We look so good when we play it around and so much the opposite when we give it back constantly to the opposition. At the PL level any team when given the ball can hurt you, and the better sides, and yes Man U despite their issues are amongst that group will really cause some damage. We really are our own worst enemy at times.

Nothing that we didn't already know but well written Dave

Lose to Fulham and we will have sleep walked into another relegation scrap.

That would be most careless to say the least.

Against Stoke even at 3-1 down we still looked happy to stand off Stoke and let them play their game meaning we were never ever going to get back into that match - we worry far too much about the opposition and don't think enough about our own game. Oh and have I said before, the formation doesn't work and our midfield is short of numbers and quality.

Quote
but Villa are never less dangerous than when they’ve scored

...and never more dangerous than when they harry the opposition (Liverpool away, Arsenal 2nd half, Newcastle 1st half) but for 2 weeks running now we've surrendered possession after taking the lead. Despite losing yesterday, Fulham showed they can be a real threat if you let them into the game.

I said the other day Fulham is massive and I was right (for once)

I am hoping that as they have to go for it that we can pick them off on the counter attack.

good assessment of the match and our team

I will take a dodgy deflected 1-0 against Fulham .

Deja Vu again when Weimann scored the winner , have we have progressed ?

Well summed up Dave.
The Fulham game is "massive" as they say these days!
