Title: Barclays Premier League Survey

Villa voted to have third best away support, pretty accurate in my view. We are always loud on the road, probably should be first as the teams above us have glory seekers everywhere so often don't put in the miles we do in getting to away games.

And they take more than we do.

12. Which manager in the Barclays Premier League have you been most impressed with this season?

Paul Lambert 6%

Well, don't really know where that comes from

On the basis it's a survey of Premier League managers and 6% is 1 out of 20, I'm guessing it's come from a Mr P Lambert.

Most votes for signing of the season go to 9 league goals Negredo.

I wonder if it was the Chavski manager?

I find the whole of that Barclays "Say thank you to the fans" marketing campaign extremely phoney and patronising.

I mentioned the tv ad in the 'annoying' thread a while ago. The Sky generation probably love it.

Can you imagine if that advert had a Villa fan on it? On the way to the ground "Don't know why I'm bothering.  It's going to be rubbish".  At the ground "Told you.  This is rubbish".  On the way home "That was rubbish.  I'm not going again".  Repeat.

Some of those numbers seem a bit odd for a survey pool of 20 people. How do you get 6%? Or 41%?

It winds me up horribly - at the point where the dad & his son are sitting at the train station saying, 'We're late now, we're going to miss kick off' - I always end up shouting at the telly - 'Thats because it's at effing 12.30!'

And those two have generally been much more sucessful that us recently....like 30 years. To be third  in that case is fantastic tribute to our away following.

Surely we put in the least miles, along with Albion and Stoke, considering our location in the middle of the country.

Ha!

8. Apart from your own, which Barclays Premier League stadium do you think has the best atmosphere?

Anfield 35%
White Hart Lane 12%
Emirates Stadium 12%
Old Trafford 17%

none of those 4 should be anywhere near the top (not that we should either mind)
