" Manchester United striker Robin van Persie will miss between four and six weeks with a sprained knee. "
His injury against Olympiakos has revealed to be worse than expected and he won't be fit to play against us in 8 days, as well as both legs of Champions League quarter finals. That's good news for us !

I was glad of the same news before we played them at Villa Park. Thing was, his replacement Danny Welbeck got two against us! Whoever plays for them turns it on when they play us even that bloody Macheda bloke.

And Hernandez...

I don't care whether or not he plays against us. However RVP going to miss the rest of season hahahahah couldn't have happened to nicer club and their lovely supporters.
-
Our attitude will dictate whether we win this game or not. We've shown we can do it, yet against this lot we folded like a cheap tent. They've shown they can be beaten at full strength, but obviously RVP missing will be a blow. But frankly we've fucked over by this lot too many times irrespective of the side they put out that I'm taking nothing as a positive.
-
They could put De Gea up front, Rooney in goal, and Remi Moses in midfield and they'd still beat us easily.
-
We do seem to make it hard for ourselves against teams who have big players missing anyway. Besides Welbeck can be an awkward bugger to play against.
-
No, not against us he won't. He'll play like he's bloody Maradona.

To be fair the best thing for the Man utd game for us would be to win against Stoke, then we could play it without any pressure whatsoever and hope to get a result, but if it goes bad this week end, I think it's gonna be really tough.

I was thinking Mike Duxbury over Moses.
-
They'll stick Peter Davenport up front and he'll smash us.
-
"You must be fucking mad Davenport, Davenport"
Proved us wrong though, eh????
-
Apart from his last season at Arsenal (contract up) and his first at United (title race going their way) he has always been a sicknote. But as has been mentioned, even Macheda scored against us. I wouldn't be surprised if, in the past, Gary Birtles, Scott McGarvey, Terry Gibson and Ralph Milne all got winners against us for them.
-
I hear their signing some bloke who looks like a horse special to play against us.
rud van winkle or something like that. 8)
Bothered we'll have a good time up there.
