Just thought i would have a go at this.
K.O 16.30... 2-3 -2014.
Us 3- them 1.

Us 3- them 1.
On recent displays only a madman would pick Villa for this one. No faith. 0-2 Norwich.
-
Must-win six pointer. Again.
I would go: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Bertrand; Albrighton, Westwood, Delph, Agbonlahor; Weimann, Holt. Subs: Steer, Bacuna, Bennett, KEA, Benteke, Sylla, Helenius.
Lambert won't.

That's why i started it. Mad as a box of cockthrottle's. ;D
-
With our home form I can see Norwich getting a 1-0 win.
-
0-1 and time for Leighton's orange bed sheet .
-
I think we're gonna snatch a 2-0 defeat from the jaws of a 1-0 defeat.

yup, same for me. 2-0 to them.
-
2-1 to them...My everlasting faith has..well ...not lasted..
-
I like this thread. Draw 1-1, even though I voted to lose to the goal by a spud-eyed yokel from Ely.
-
Best we can hope for is hold them to 0-0 until the 4th minute of added time when their keeper clears the ball, it hits Holt's massive arse and rolls across the line.
-
Scrappy win because I just can't bring myself to vote for a Villa loss.
-
More tickets have been sold for the Chelsea game over 2 weeks away than this one. That's bad.
-
What's changed?
Nothing - the VP hoodoo strikes again. Lose by at least two goals.
Gnashing of teeth ensues but we press the reset button before the next match.
-
I really cannot see us winning but I'm optimistically going for a 1-1 draw.
-
0-0. All out defence by us. Lambert wouldn't dare lose this one.
-
I will go for 3-0. Holt to score a hattrick for us.
Please?
-
Fuck it. We'll win 2-0 and the gloom will disappear.

Why do you fear your own team winning??

Comfortable home win.

;)
-
has to be a win
It will be a win , won't it ?
If not , Lambert should walk
1-0 Villa Graydon
-
I agree with Dan.
-
Villa 0
Norwich 2
Hoolahan 84, 88
-
0-2.
-
cloud parting, morale boosting, oxygen generating, spirit lifting home victory
2-0 Gabby and Benteke
-
1-1
-
I think we'll lose 0-2 aswell.
My faith in our lot has all but disappeared now.
-
I've voted for a score bore more out of hope than on current form. I expect that'll be the best we can get but fear a turgid 1-0 loss.
But 'we'll go again' and 'relish the pressure' after the game...................
-
1-1 draw.
-
2-1 win. Gabby and Delph scoring
-
Norwich have won 4 out of 32 away games under Hughton. Nervous 1:0 home win.
-
Villa have won 8 out of 32 home games under Lambert. Just saying.
-
Lamberts Bolton i reckon.
-
We'll murderise them. Or not.
-
Villa have won 8 out of 32 home games under Lambert. Just saying.
So we are twice as likely to win as them then based on those two stats!!
Come on everyone!! Its Norwich not Barca!!!
-
3 : 3
Mark Robins, Robert Rosario and Flash Gordon for them.
Magneto scoring three for us.
-
Home win
-
Lambert has a good record against Norwich. Villa 2-1 win.
-
All out attack from the start getting an early goal then sitting back to defend a shaky lead. But then we'll get 2 late goals to win 2-1
-
0-0
John Deehan misses a penalty
-
All out attack from the start getting an early goal then sitting back to defend a shaky lead. But then we'll get 2 late goals to win 2-1
First half we are playing as Norwich?
-

I didn't say who would come out all guns blazing ;)
-
Norwich is an absolutely crucial game, this is so similar to the situation last season when we had to beat Reading (I know this is at home) to reduce some pressure we simply have to win and we will, 2-1 Villa.
-
Looking like a must-win for us now. And I think we will win it, limping three more points closer to undignified survival.
My 10 points prediction from however many games it was in the recent predictions thread is looking increasingly wildly optimistic. We have to win this one though.
Doubt I'll stay up to watch it.
Give the home crowd something to cheer Villa- a glimmer of hope and a smidgeon of excitement.
-
This really has become a must win.
-
15 games in the last 3 months;
W 3 D 3 L 9; just one home win.
Simply must win, and time for the 'fantastic' and 'terrific' performances the manager sees to become a reality for once.
-
I'm normally a total pessimist but I reckon we'll win this one.
If we lose I think Lambert is going to be on very shaky ground.
Norwich are pretty rubbish though so I'll go for a wildly optimistic 3-1.
-
Aston Villa 5-0 Norwich City.
Gabby
Bentekex2
Weimann
Vlaar
-
We will fucking smash them.
4-1 Villa.
-
Well if we can't win this one I want the man sacked before another one of his high quality training sessions. Last chance saloon for me for Lambert.
-
1-1
-
This really has become a must win.
Like Crystal Palace at home and West Ham at home? Can't see anything but a defeat after 8 out 13 home defeats so far. 1-2
-
Norwich have won 4 out of 32 away games under Hughton
There's a nailed on away win then!!
Hopefully a 2 - 0 win. Realistically a draw - if we lose then Lambert really should do the honourable thing.
-
I think we will lose 1-2 Holt for us against his old team.
-
My normally sunny disposition has taken a real battering recently, I almost always back us to win but I think the most typically 'Villa' result for this game will be a 1-1 draw and a reasonably good performance.
A result disappointing enough so that people are still worried and pissed off, but we'll play juuuust well enough to stop the floodgates opening and people losing their shit entirely.
-
We need to win this, but we will draw. And it is going to be boring.
-

Correct, after defeat, he will do the honourable thing.........sign a new 3 year deal!!
-
This really has become a must win.
Like Crystal Palace at home and West Ham at home? Can't see anything but a defeat after 8 out 13 home defeats so far. 1-2
The fact we lost those games doesn't impact how important they were. This is more important though given the stage of the season.
-
I think we'll finally turn up and get this right. As Spurs found out, Norwich will be 100% committed but Lambert will for various reasons not want to lose this one and will have the players focused. Anything less than a home win will set the alarm bells ringing. Expect a tough first half but once we take the lead confidence will grow and we'll beat them by a healthy margin.
A 4-1 Villa win will paper over the cracks for a week or two.
-
1-2 to the cross eyed sister marrying inbreds after we take the lead, sit back and get passed off the park. More fucking garbage from Lambert & Co.
-
If we lose on Sunday, I suggest we put Lambert and Culverhouse on that bloody coach back to Norwich.
-

That's the problem.
-
0-0.
-
They must be desperate for punters, I've just had the call from the ticket office offering me Super Mega Discount Prices
-
I can't see us winning. I hope to be in the North stand for this, but im not hopeful.
-
I can't see us winning. I hope to be in the North stand for this, but im not hopeful.
What, not hopeful of winning or being in the North Stand?
-
It's nearly 3 months since Norwich last scored more than 1 goal in a league game. And they've only managed it in 3 league games all season. 8-7 to us it is then.
-
I fear a similar outcome to the palace home game and more frustration .
-
1-2 to the cross eyed sister marrying inbreds
Lot of truth in that:

-
Genuinely no idea about this one, so let's say 3-2.
-
A nervy 2-1 win. Gabby and Benteke with a penalty. Hoolahan for them.
-
3-1 to Villa. Nervy game with a late goal to us to calm us all down.

By James Nursey | 27/02/14
The locals are restless again at Villa Park .
A four-game winless run has seen Villa slip to 13th – just four points off the relegation drop zone.
And understandably fans are worried Villa's top-flight status maybe endangered.
The run has also rather undermined claims from Villa Park – and from myself – that the club are making slow, steady progress to improve on last season's 15th place.
Villa's home form remains a huge concern after the West Ham loss.
But the good news for worried Villains is Norwich are next up .
Because if there is one fixture boss Paul Lambert is sure to have his side particularly keyed up for, it is the Canaries.
Now I realise fans will say boss Lambert should have his side properly motivated for every game and I am sure he does.
But the Scot remains furious and bitter about his controversial exit from Carrow Road in June 2012.
It was the culmination of a stormy relationship with Norwich chief executive David McNally.
And in four subsequent matches against the Canaries, Lambert's Villa have never lost.
The corresponding fixture last season was a 1-1 draw at Villa Park.
They also won twice at Carrow Road last season, including in the League Cup.
And they won at Norwich earlier this season when Robert Snodgrass missed a penalty.
From what I have heard, when Lambert is up against a former side, he is so on edge that it translates to the players.
Paul McVeigh, for example, was part of Lambert's Norwich squad who got promoted from League One in 2009/2010.
He is now a radio show host and I recall him discussing Lambert's return to his old club Colchester that season after switching clubs.
McVeigh said Lambert was noticeably extra fired up and on edge against Colchester before City won 5-0.
So Villa's players will know Sunday's game is important for numerous reasons – not least climbing the table.
But the psyche of a player is such that they tend to try a few per cent harder if they know it is a specific game the manager is desperate to win.
After all, a good result will delight the boss and may probably earn them an additional day off or two!
The Canaries head to Villa off the back of a superb victory over Tottenham and their recent performances have been decent – even if results suggest otherwise.
Norwich were very solid at the back against Tottenham and created several chances going forward.
Chris Hughton maybe tempted to drop mis-firing forward Ricky Van Wolfswinkel for Gary Hooper, who can hold the ball up better away from home.
While Wes Hoolahan, who Villa tried to sign in January, is set to be on the bench.
It will be a tight game in my view with a draw the most likely outcome.
But what price a Grant Holt winner?!
Holt is a Carrow Road legend after firing the Canaries from League One to the Premier League with dozens of goals.
He dropped down into the Championship with Wigan last summer but is now back working with Paul Lambert after going to Villa on loan.
He is yet to score for Villa but was the man for the big occasion while at Norwich.
He will relish Sunday's game as a chance to say goodbye to City fans who adored him.
But Holt, 32, who is likely to come off the bench, will also love to prove to them he is not finished yet and what better way than with a late equaliser or winner.
-

Cheers John, I'll look fwd to watching it then!
-
This just has a 0-0 feel to it doesn't it? Mind you we're due a goal so I'll bump it up to 1-1. Gabby with our goal.
-
Got a suspicious view he'll play Holt in this
-
League Cup Final day, 1st weekend in March
Villa to beat Norwich 1-0 after a 79th minute penalty is pushed onto the post and Benteke slots in the rebound
-
Got a suspicious view he'll play Holt in this
I hope he does
-
Got a suspicious view he'll play Holt in this
Yes I was thinking the same earlier, I think Benteke should be dropped based on his attitude at Sid James Park
-
Norwich are one of the few who don't play a 5 man midfield. 4-4-2 for me, Gabby and Albrighton wide, Holt and Benteke up top, sling it under the nose of Ruddy, get Holt to give him a little bosh early doors and play good old up and at em football.
-
3 up after 40 minutes, 3-2 after 87 minutes.
Nervy, nervy last seven minutes.
-
I have a feeling we'll play utterly abysmally and lose three-nil but, like after the home trouncing by Wigan last year, we'll get better after this match.
-

I'd quite like us to get better for this one! ;)
-
Another frustrating outing. 1-1.
-
I think that there will be an ugly atmosphere if we get mugged off with another shit performance at home this time.
I desperately hope it doesn't come to that.
-
3-1 win, I am home for this one, last few games I have made it home for have been dire so it has to change.
-

Think a change in formation at home is a must and we have got to take the game to them and look like we are trying to win even if that means taking risks. Albrighton should start and get those crosses going from the off. I see this being either a Bolton type disaster or a Sunderland type stroll.
-

I can't argue about his performance at St James Park but the problem with dropping Benteke is that he doesn't tend to be a particularly effective impact sub so you probably lose him completely for that game. We are well overdue giving someone a hiding and I hope it is Sunday but I will take any win. A draw and we will be booed off, a defeat and there is a chance it could be Lambert's Bolton game.

I'd say we are well overdue stringing 3 passes together and throwing the ball in to another Villa player before giving someone a hiding.
-
a win....any type of win and then a run of 4 home wins on the bounce....god I'm in a good mood today..
-
This match is where we find out how lucky Mr Lambert is because if he ever needed a win its now.
-

Against Spurs they dropped Hooper and player Leroy Fer just off the striker so it was a 4-5-1 for that game.
-

Our fixture list is horrible after this game though so can't see it.

I think you are right. We are due to give someone a hiding. Sometime this century

i was thinking the same . If you see some good performances but feel it just needs to drop into place and been unlucky sometimes I understand a team could but Villa at the moment giving some one a hiding ?
I actually dont think Norwich have been that bad lately , in fact playing much better than Cardiff . Fulham and baggies but Lambert does seem to get results against his old club , how I wish they would have him back .
-
we will smash them 4 - 1...............................now where did I put my crack pipe?

I meant it has been too long since the last time we did it. I didn't mean we have been threatening to so one is coming. I wish I could say I was seeing positives that others can't but I'm not.
-
Sunderland from last season all over again.
5 - 0 Villa. Easy.
-
Quite worried about this, Delph seems to have gone off form a bit in the last few games, strangely just as Westwood is playing the best he has all season.
Their midfield seems so much more sold than ours, can see them winning 2-1.

Great, I'm sure Sylla will be amazing :-\
-
In what way are we overdue to give someone a hiding ?
We can barely get a couple of shots on target never mind looking like we've got a bag of goals in us
-
I'd drop Benteke to kick him up his rather large arse. Play Weimann and Gabby through the middle. We need to try something different especially at home.
-
There's a nice symmetry in the votes at the moment.

Not for me , gabby and Weimann don't carry the goal threat benteke does - benteke will be key to survival .
-
0-0 is written all over this one sadly. Prove me wrong Villa.
-
Sadly i would not back Villa to beat anyone at home under this manager. I have a horrible feeling Norwich who hate the way he walked out on them will be up for this more than us. Would not be surprised to see Hoolalhan play a part in the game and get the winner.Us 1 Them 2

This is a genuine question - are the supporters of the other teams in the bottom half saying the same sort of things about their clubs on their forums?
Are they all convinced they are the worst team ever too and that they are all going to lose every game?
Or is it just on here people are slitting their wrists?

Probably.
Probably.
I doubt it.
-
I note the referee for Sunday's match is Anthony Taylor ,let's hope the score is the same as the first match of the season when he seemed to give Villa most of the decision;s

I think most teams down there would expect to be there and survival is success - villa are too big a club to be enduring relegation battles year after year and the fans are rightly pissed off with things.
-
All you can do at the moment is just hope a performance will come. One galvanising performance is all it takes, surely? West Ham got a point at Chelsea when everyone expected a drubbing - they've gone on a good run since. Norwich drew at home with City and went on to beat Spurs. And though I can't see Villa doing something like that at the moment, I couldn't see Norwich doing it three weeks ago.
Win this, hope results elsewhere go our way (as is standard these days), everyone gets a bit of a lift, and then maybe we can just safely see out another season to forget.
-
Two back to back wins would do nicely but when did we last achieve such a feat ?
-
Two back to back wins would do nicely but when did we last achieve such a feat ?
Sunderland and Norwich at the end of last season.
-
The bad news is that I think Norwich are going to beat us, we'll play terribly and the crowd will really get on Lambert's case. Having lost the crowd's backing, we won't play well again for the rest of the season and will ultimately be relegated along with Fulham and Cardiff.
However, the good news is that my football predictions are almost always completely wrong. So expect us to thrash Norwich and finish 8th while West Ham, Stoke and Manchester United go down. Maybe.
-

That's pretty poor - almost a year without 2 wins in a row .

Agree with this except that I can't say we will lose, we must be capable of at least getting a draw at home to a team below us (just about)????
-

We had back to back league wins this season against Norwich and Man City

Legion, we need the Dot, we need the Dot know more than ever. Stop teasing and give us the bloody Dot.
Marvelous.

I already have my coat, no worries.

Would i be right in saying that the lowest Prem gate of our season is expected ?
Or are the same hardy 36,500 going to turn up ?
Considering our home form i am surprised we have not dropped into the 27,500-30,000.
Says a lot for Villa fans imv. Loyal to the last man- Lady.

Jesus Christ, now we're at the stage where people are moaning about things that the manager hasn't even done yet.
Westwood is fit. Lambert said so in his press conference. It says so on the bbc preview. Every time he has been fit he has played. He will play on sunday.
-
Quite worried about this, Delph seems to have gone off form a bit in the last few games, strangely just as Westwood is playing the best he has all season.
Their midfield seems so much more sold than ours, can see them winning 2-1.
Westwood is an injury doubt apparently.

I agree with you!
But we've got enough to be pissed off about already without coming up with things that haven't happened and then getting pissed off about them as well. Its bad for the health.

You care enough to come on here and tell us that you've given up caring. Give up if you like, leave it to the rest of us who don't want to.

I think it's more a figure of speech, Clampy. A way of releasing/defining the frustration

Fucking brilliant !!!!
Thanks for cheering me up :)

Hope the crowd can stay really supportive tomorrow like they were against Albion. We all know how important this game is. I am strangely looking forward to it for once.
I think you will be dismayed by the silence at villa park tomorrow ;)
Would i be right in saying that the lowest Prem gate of our season is expected ?
Or are the same hardy 36,500 going to turn up ?
Considering our home form i am surprised we have not dropped into the 27,500-30,000.
Says a lot for Villa fans imv. Loyal to the last man- Lady.
And cross dressers are more than welcome too.
Last year for a lot of ST holders and nothing else to do on a Sunday afternoon........(well me anyway)
-
It's going to a turkey shoot.
-
This game is taking on a significance beyond the 3 points on offer. A win should settle things down a little and allow us to see a way though to the end of the season with some degree of confidence; lose or even draw and I think a lot of frustration will come to the boil.
-
I know we traditionally like to moan about our defence but after Sundays game PL needs to badly sort out the front men. Excluding the madness of the West Brom game we've only scored 6 goals since the turn of the year (we scored 5 in December but that included 3 at Southampton).
I guess to oppose my argument is that we can score goals when we setup right - Southampton & Liverpool prove that but unless he sorts this out soon that will be what takes us down. Score first and we might have got something out of Fulham, Palace, West Ham, Cardiff, Newcastle instead we scraped 1 point from a realistic return of say 7-10.
So before we start pointing the finger at Lowton / Vlaar / Baker / This weeks LB (and clark) lets look at where the real problem lies - teams that dont score never win......
(and yes in my playing days I was centre half ..... :D )

Aboslutely. I'd like to see us go a little gung ho to be honest. And I don't mean in a Lambert 4-2-4 punt and hope kind of way. But it would be nice to really try and set the tempo and really push the opposition, particularly in our home games against dross in the bottom 10. We're so negative too often.
We need to attack, try and make use of our talented attackers. Spread the play, use a bit of width too. Get Albrighton in there to pelt some crosses in. Lets try harder to win matches, and we might just start winning against teams we should be beating.
-
It's going to be a much tougher game than you imagine, Supertom. Norwich have seen what hard work can bring them and the win against Spurs will given them a much needed boost of confidence. They will try and push us and give us little time on the ball so it's up to us to respond by matching them. An early goal will force them to come at us and hopefully leave space to counter attack but with them likely to play 5 through the midfield, we need to be a lot more clever with the ball.
I'm still confident we can beat them and go on to score a few but it will be a battle to begin with. As Chris pointed out, it's a massive game, especially for us, possibly the biggest of the season to date. Norwich will be happy with a point. We need all 3 not only for our own survival but to go into the rest of the month with a bit of much needed confidence. The last two games have really demonstrated how low the confidence is and we urgently need to address it.
Anything but a win isn't worth considering. Fail to and things could turn very ugly.
-
This just feels like "the" game of the season for us right now. A win puts us on 31 and well on the way to safety. A draw does little and a defeat not only pushes a rival up ahead of us but keeps us down in the duldrums. It feels almost like the Stoke game of last season before Lowton pulled that blinder out the bag. For me that volley was possibly the key moment in keeping us up. We'd seemingly thrown the game away against a frankly fucking wretched Stoke side. They were appalling, probably the worst side we'd played that season in terms of performance. We didn't look like winning after they'd equalised. We looked as if we'd given up but Matty turned it around and in the end the scoreline looked impressive after ending with a flourish.
For me this Norwich game is similar. Such an important time. Coming into March and we're right in the mire again.
We've got to dictate the game and we've got to win. Lose it and we're by no means dead and buried, of course not, but it may be the first nailed hammered into the coffin. Win and a lot of pressure gets lifted. I think 3 more wins and a couple of draws keeps us up comfortably.
-
With Stoke looking like they are going to win Today we will be down to 14th, and a loss tomorrow would have us down to 15th. Crystal Palace and Sunderland both have a game in hand on us too. We really need to go for broke tomorrow and get a win to push us back up the table a little and maybe instill a wee bit of confidence. As it that 'comfortable mid table 10th' that some people seemed to think meant too many teams were between us and the relegation zone, isn't looking so comfortable and week by week we are dropping down the table.
If we lose then Lambert should be given his marching orders.
Just hope to see some nice football and a win!
-
Going to be a very nervy match.Lose and we in a really bad way the 3 games after that are awful TBH
-
I hadn't realised just how close it has become at the bottom.
We've absolutely got to start to win some games very soon, and this looks the obvious point at which to start. 31 points and we'd be 11th. Lose and we could quite easily be 16th, three points ahead of Albion who would have a game in hand, and only four points ahead of Sunderland in the first relegation place, who would have two games in hand.
Fuck. We just need to start winning some games. A draw tomorrow is not good enough, and I agree with Chris, anything other than three points and we'll see some real anger

This, it's a game we just have to win, no excuses.
-
Ran through the last 11 matches with the two fellas in the office (RedManc and a Boggie) and we got 9 (me!), 10 and 11 points for us - we have a pretty good record of forecasting. We had a W/D/L forecast for this!
-
Remember all those other winnable games so far this season?......
-
I can't help feeling that Norwich will outbattle us and will fancy their chances, especially if they read this thread!! A win, no excuses, is required from Villa. We simply HAVE to start winning at home.
-
Even if we win it's not likely we're going to go on some great run given the fixtures we have forthcoming.
To me beating west Brom was crucial as that got us to 27 points by the end of January and yet we've miserably failed to kick on from that so I don't see a win tomorrow, as crucial as it would be, being any different.
-

That's been our main problem. Apart from November (I think), we haven't really gone on a run of any sort. That's held us back.
-
Made the circa 5,500-mile trip for this one. Looking forward to seeing Villa Park again and hopefully a win.
Don't let me down.

You know that song, "It Never Rains in Southern California"?
Well, it does in Aston. All the fucking time. Great big pebble sized piss stinking rain drops.
Soz.

The thing that worries me too , we had always had that gap of 8 points etc from the bottom 3 while playing these so called poor teams around us eg Cardiff , west ham and palace , so we should have been relaxed with no pressure and had the confidence to play beat these teams ,
now the gap is getting shorter , it just mean there is going to be big pressure .
how are we going to handle it under immense pressure to pick up points , we were rubbish when we had no pressure and the comfortable gap .
This game is massive . We have dropped to many points against teams around us and it should not go on .
so we needs 3 points today .
-
Please Villa, let me be singing like Pharrell in the car on the way home, law of averages say it has to happen sooner or later.
-
Another blustery day.A day to not play kick the ball into the ionosphere hoping a passing orbitting Benteke may just get his not so small head to.
On the deck and we win 3-1
Otherwise Naarrich will be having a mustard smeared Lambo roast
-
We will win today. I just know it.
-
I also think we will win today and hopefully play some good football on the way.
I watched Lambert's pre match presser earlier. "This is a game we will go out and try to win." Does that mean that all the other's are games we go out to lose or draw ?
Surely that statement should not even be made. We should be going out to win every bloody game ?
-

He says that for every single game, its as much a Lambertism as 'we go again'

The thing that gets me though dekko is his apparent total lack of confidence. If he is not showing confidence at the press conference is he showing any on the training ground.?

Let's banish any nego talk as of now. We need a win and we will get it. Positive mental attitude only chaps!

we're gonna win 6-1

I've never known a season like it Clampy and it has really hacked me off. I accept we were very fortunate to win games like Man. City and Southampton but normally it's logical to think the team would at least gain confidence from beating good teams and go on a run. Instead our form has been awful after both of those results, playing against inferior teams.
Infact our form has been abysmal since the Southampton game on the 4th Dec. You're talking about a period of a period of 13 league games since then. We have won 2 of them and failed to score in 6 of those games.

Or it just showed up that we also played badly in both those games and were just extremely lucky?

Rumour Bertrand is missing with a virus? I hope that's just twitterbollocks.
It was confirmed he went off last week ill so he must be on the brink of death if he's still struggling a week on.
Bennett was hopeless in both Norwich fixtures last season and no doubt Snodgrass will target him again so I'd rather see Clark at LB for this.
-
I see this game just like last year away at Reading. Win it (which we will) and we will start to pull away from trouble. I'm not even going to bother typing the rest.
-
What's the weather like at the moment ?
It took me over an hour just to make it as far as 'Nam due to flooding/road closures.
I'm wondering how long I should give myself to get from work to Villa.

Maybe but Newcastle were in rubbish form, they probably didn't even deserve to beat us, did and clearly got confidence from that as they demolished Hull yesterday despite Pardew being a psycho.

I have spent the last half an hour staring at the Orange dot on page 9 of the thread, Mrs K just looks at me shaking her head :)

The weather is thinking about raining. It won't stop once it starts apparently.
The trains are fucked in a few directions meaning I am currently touring the shittier parts of the Black Country on a train replacement coach.
Looking at how shit it is in this Industrial Estate I must be near The Hawthorns.

Raining.

Who'd have thought a game against Norwich City could be so important. My heart says we will win because we're due a win. My head says we will hang on for an unconvincing draw.
-

They never understand. I was accused of going potty (again) when she found me concentrating hard on the telext page ( I will explain kids) when we were drawing away from home. I can not understand why she found my answer "I am defending our score" hilarious?
-
Correct me if I'm wrong but Norwich are an absolute pile of wank.
So probably a draw then....
-
Aye, they score less goals than we do so they should probably only score two today..

We have had back to back wins in the league, against Norwich and Man City. We lost to Spurs in the cup between them.

We have, we beat Norwich and Man City earlier in the season.

Three wins in a row in the league remains a pipe dream, I have a bad feeling we haven't even achieved that since the last days of MON.
Pretty bad when even West Ham are winning in a row.
-
If we win today you can thank my new home shirt getting it's first airing. If we lose blame the early posts on the match thread. UTV

Weather update from the bus into town: Currently shite.

It's been noted, PWS. Lose today and I'll hunt down Dan, chop him up and cook him in one of his bloody curry recipes.
-
Under Lambert's guidance (or lack of it) our home form is absolutely horrendous so why should I expect anything else other than a fluky win?
Still, come on you Villa boys.....points are now far more important than Lambert bashing. We can deal with that when the time is right and hopefully wave him and his staff goodbye.

Make sure you have a naan bread with it. Not much meat on me i'm afraid.
You could always have a portion of Orange Dots.
Right , to the local i go. C'mon Villa, i don't want to be chopped up and turned into curry. :o
-
If ourselves, Swansea and Spurs win today you'd have to think we can let out a bit of a sigh of relief going into our tough fixtures.
Here's hoping the footballing Gods align in our favour for once.
-
Off to the match now. By hook or by crook, just give us a win today Villa. I don't care how we get it, just win the bloody thing!
Come on!!
