I have received 3 calls in two days from the club in respect of my season card and the benefits associated with it.
I was politely asked if I was looking to renew next season - I said "highly unlikely"
I was then asked for the reasoning behind that decision.
My answers were:
1. Fed up with fixtures being changed so frequently.
2. The poor quality of football on display.
3. That I was generally hacked off with the modern game- expense, players wages, TV control over game times etc
Again I was politely thanked for my comments.
Finally I was asked if there was anything else the club could do for me? I was tempted to ask her to get Randy to call me later so we could discuss the future of the club..... I think that may have been a request too far.
Are the club sweating over ticket sales and dipping attendances already?
PS - always nice to get a customer services call - at least it shows they value my custom (or they are worried that fans patience is wearing thin)?

I had repeated calls the other day. When I finally managed to answer one, it was to promote JVLife members for £1 admission this Saturday and a free stadium tour with fully paid accompanying adult over half-term with Mark Delaney.
-
Had the call, just told the guy that ;
I prefer my football on a Saturday at 3pm, or a Wednesday evening,
& Viagogo seem a better option for picking up good deals.
-
I never get the call. Booooo!
-
Me neither.
-
I never got a call. They know I'll put up with any old shit. I like where I sit, generally decent people around me and easy to get out at the end (or, occasionally, before the end). I'll renew, I always do.

See above. ;)

They did the same last year. As cdbullyweefan says, I'll renew, I always do,
-
So will I, regardless.
-
I had a call from Bailiffs.
-
Have they started this earlier this season than in the past?
-
Takes some stones to be asking this early, when we've won three games at VP all season and played muck in most of them.
-
I have not had a call yet. Maybe as I have had my current season ticket for over 20 years they don't think it is necessary, but I will not be renewing.
My job now involves working almost every Saturday and Sunday.

Had a call about 6 weeks ago politely enquiring why my son and I had not renewed.
Pointed out that I had renewed to a different location and that my son could no longer attend due to disability issues.
This seemed to throw the enquirer and they asked to speak to him to determine the reason he had not renewed. My lad was there but did not want to talk to the chap and I had to tell him three times the same reason. I volunteered the fact that I would probably not renew unless there was an inprovement in performances.
I was also asked if there was anything AVFC could do to improve my "matchday experience" - my answer was like most others - play better and I will enjoy it more...
-
I've never had a call from them. I think they must have me down in the "blind loyalty - always chunters about it but then renews before April is out" camp.
-
No, no call. Perhaps they can't afford the 'international' call rates to the Republic.

I had a call telling me I had twenty odd quid on my season card which I could spend on Pies and drinks or merchandise. Or, I could spend £10 of it on a voucher which would give me special offers on Pies and drinks and merchandise. He was a little taken aback when I said I don't buy any of that in the ground. He then went on to inform me I could use the twenty odd quid against the cost of next season's Season Card. We both decided this was the best use of the twenty.

I did not know that. I thought that "Villa Cash" could only be used against merchandise & home tickets
-
No call for me. My circumstances might change over the Summer (where I live) so I can't say with certaintly what will happen as regards renewal.
-
They never call me. Lerner out!

Surprised me too. I see it as a 5 or so % reduction.
