Title: Arsenal 2 v 3 Aston Villa - 1988
Post by: Fuse on January 20, 2014, 10:44:41 PM: Anyone remember this game? First game away after promotion against the title holders. We went 2-0 up from memory before being pegged back to 2-2. Then preceded to get the winner with a screamer from Andy Gray (the midfielder and not the striker).

One of my fav away days ever - wish I could find highlights from that game

Post by: Damo70 on January 21, 2014, 08:20:40 AM: This was my first trip to Highbury and we weren't expecting to get much from the game. They weren't title holders at the time but won it that season. I remember McInally getting two but couldn't have told you who got the other one.

Our kid went down on his jack, I went the following season though.
