Which means buy from me please. I need cheering up. Plus I'm the nicest and bestest.

Unfortunately (or luckily) I will not be in attendance, so I'll pick mine up at the cup game

Well I'm by the Villa Lion outside the Holte End on Trinity Road tomorrow in place of Steve. Never sold there before.

I usually buy from Percy but he hasn't been lucky for me, dont think weve ever won when purchasing from him but somehow dont think its his fault :)

Break the habit and walk further down Trinity Road towards me as I'm in an unfamiliar spot outside the Holte End. Far more used to the Trinity Road North Stand gates and occasionally outside the Church but I'll sell wherever the big boss man tells me to.

Its Peter Withes Shin or Legion then, as your Moderators plus prolific posters I may ask you to autograph the issue :)

I think you may prefer his replacement.

Was there a young lad selling across from you on Thursday or was I imagining it?

There was.

Dave has a new favourite seller now. Apparently she's lovely. I've been relegated to the stiffs.

That was Percy's lad, our Academy graduate drafted in during an injury crisis.

Would that be whoever was in Percy's spot at the manu game?

I get to put a face to a name as I walk past. Chances are you won't get my four quid, though.

A big thank you to Dave for placing me in The Deadzone today. I had been given an incorrect number by Peter Winters on his rare excursion into the UK for our annual meet-up at VP. I usually relocate at this time of year but was unable to contact him about it. He passed me on his way to the ground whilst selling and gave me a spare ticket he had due to illness so I could sit with him in the Upper Holte. Anywhere else and I'd have missed this opportunity. Thank you for the great company again. Very happy.

Could it be your luck is changing?

Highly unlikely. This was a mere blip in the sea of shite that encompasses me.

Happy New Year to you.

I was sat by (to be exact my son was sat in between us) a friendly H&V seller in the lower North Stand today. But by the time we had had a mutual moan to each other about the state of affairs and he had very conscientiously made a quick getaway to start selling again I didn't get around to asking who he was.

You didn't look like I thought you looked like. Is there a taller guy with glasses who sells in the middle after games? Or do you stick some specs and platforms on? I always thought that guy was Legion.

That would be Steve Whitehouse. He sells directly outside the park underneath the streetlamp. I sell in the zebra-crossing intersection afterwards in-between the park and the church. I enjoyed chatting to you and apologies for my speedy exit without saying goodbye.

Just had the pleasure of reading issues 185 to 188 over the Christmas and new year period - distribution problems to those of us in far flung Cornwall!

Some brilliant articles - particularly Stuart Griffin on SirAlex and Simon Page on the predictability of the Premiership. Now that Mrs C and I have retired and given up our season tickets (partly due to moving 300 miles away!) it is good to have a claret and blue fix.

To everyone concerned keep up the good work.
