Title: Fulham -Away
Post by: villa `cross the mersey on October 08, 2013, 07:20:52 PM
Not travelled with the Villa for a while - is it easy to get tickets directly from Fulham for the neutral section? - hotel all booked up just need the tickets !!

Yes, piece of cake. Just go on the Fulham website and register.

Not a bad price either, 35 quid last season, assume it's the same this year. I can't even remember what part of the Putney end I was actually in last year as the Neutral bid just seems to merge with the away fans.

Have booked up the train and hotel tickets, so long as the game isn't moved to the early slot on Saturday or Monday night, then we'll be fine.

Anyone know when the criteria come out for this. I would rather get the credit in my booking history than go in the neutral end.

Neutral tickets now available on general sale from Fulham (up to 6).

Maybe I'm getting extra credit for going to the Newport pre-season game !?!

Me too,a bit gutted actually Got 4 for £70 last year as kids went free. Cost £120 for 4 this year. a massive increase Staying from Friday til Sunday.Luckily we got a great deal on the train tickets for £44 for 4 return which softens the blow a bit

Spoke to the ticket office this morning and it's now sold out. Club are putting in a request for a higher allocation.

Spoke to the ticket office this morning and it's now sold out. Club are putting in a request for a higher allocation.

Now that the rules have, changed with regard to additional tickets, we are likely to see more of this.
The change is that we only have to pay up if we fail to sell 50% of the final allocated block. Prior to this season, we had to pay for any unsold tickets in anything above the inital allocation.

I got tickets in the block next to the away fans (neutral) from Fulham, if we get more tickets where would they be?

If anyone has spares in our actual end I would be very interested and will also buy you a pint before the game! If not can anyone let me know which part of the neutral stand I want to be near the Villa fans?

Is the game moved for TV or just to be generally difficult ?

Booked via Fulham in P3 neutral section. Robbing bastards £1.50 per ticket booking fee and a £1.50 transaction fee.
We shouldn't really complain about the £2 villa levy too much.

away fans are P5-P7, so you want P4.
Title: Re: Fulham -Away

P4 will be the extra allocation we requested on Monday so you actually need P3

Nope, P6 and P7 is the 1700 allocation. P5, P6 and P7 is the 2900 allocation. So he'll need P4. Or P5 if we've failed to take the full allocation.
Title: Re: Fulham -Away
Post by: placeforparks on November 13, 2013, 05:08:43 PM
P5 now on sale via the fulham website, so we're not taking the full allocation.
Title: Re: Fulham -Away
Post by: astonvillan on November 13, 2013, 05:38:57 PM
That's a shame. The 1700 sold out a month before, and with Villa requesting the full 2900 from Fulham, it must be them who feel we won't be able to sell it. Rather odd given that we always take the full allocation there, but perhaps they fear losing out with this new 50% rule.
Title: Re: Fulham -Away
Post by: tom jennings III on November 13, 2013, 08:29:57 PM
That is weird isn't. Oh well I'm going to pile into P5 and hope that there are loads of other Villa fans around!

Where "exactly" is the neutral zone?
And by "Neutral" does this mean Villa and Fulham fans sitting together? Do all the Fulham fans sit in the Hammersmith end or do some choose to sit in the Putney End?
It all seems a bit Vague somehow
Title: Re: Fulham -Away
Post by: Ads on November 14, 2013, 08:17:49 AM
The neutral end is the Putney End. Its basically away fans, away fans who couldn't get tickets in the away blocks and then tourists taking in the "EPL".

Was on the bus on the way home this evening, thinking about plans for Sunday (tips on where to get a good breakfast welcomed), when it occurred to me that I've not as yet got any tickets. Not that I get to many aways these days, but this does seem cutting things a bit fine
