"Something's stirring at Villa Park" well something is definitely stirring at Arsenal, the fallout after our win is bordering on the hysterical

Nice article Dave
Oh I saw a post from a Spurs fan which tickled me "In Arsene We Rust"

Good article, Dave. I think you make this point well:
The very fact that the team’s first instinct when they had the opportunity was to attack rather than hang on tells you everything you need to know about Paul Lambert’s philosophy for the season. Not every performance will be this good, nor every result as satisfying, but Villa will be aiming to score more than the opposition instead of trying to concede less.
On the evidence of their first half against Hull, Chelsea will score a goal or two against us, but who's to say we won't score one or two as well?

Regarding the bit about 'the most expensive tickets in the country', Dave, at least they didn't overcharge our fans. Very reasonable. It is a pity that Chelsea can't be a bit more reasonable.

Especially with Chelsea being run by one of the richest men in football.

Fixed.

Another good article Dave.

Great stuff Dave. I like the last bit... Something is stirring at Villa Park. It sure is! I think we are in for a very good year.
-
Good to read a Villa celebration after the predictable 'where Arsenal went wrong' groanfest in the dailies, today! Thanks, Dave.

Good call about the new era Dave.
Unfortunately, something was stirring at mine on Sunday morning. Gargantuan amounts of curry, and real ale at the Plough.
Swimming that morning was considered but written off as a no!
We went shopping at Merry Hill instead. It was easier to hide the arse fug amongst all those Stripe covered pricks.

At least it was up longer than Wiltshire on Saturday! How many times did he collapse? Haha

it is back up now, in case anyone else missed it. Remember that early season innocent optimistic glow? ;)
Saturday took the edge off a wee bit as we didn't exactly give another "masterclass in counter-attacking" in the first half, but again we came back at it, so the glow hasn't totally faded...
