There's summer fun in store for all the family when we host our first Fun Day of the season ahead of the clash against Malaga.
Our past family fun days - held in the Indoor Academy at Villa Park - have gone down so well that we are planning to hold more than ever this season.
Extend your family day out at the Malaga game on Saturday August 10 with a host of free activities in the Academy before Paul Lambert's team take on the Spanish side.
The activities run from 12pm up until kick off.
What's more, there will be another Fun Day at our first home Barclays Premier League game against Liverpool on Saturday August 24 from 3pm.
A host of exciting free activities have already been confirmed for the Malaga fun day.
You'll be able to try our selection of summer-themed games with cactus hoopla, frisbee golf, giant beachball dribbling and much more.
To fit our Mediterranean theme we'll also be giving you the chance to ride the Rodeo Bull.
Test your shot on the speed cage to test your shot and try your hand at some other mini skills challenges.
There'll also be face painting and plenty of refreshments available. Mascots Hercules and Bella will be coming along too!

All sounds great providing they're not teaching the kids geography.

I think VMF are doing a Spanished themed night also.

Well I won't be going to the fun day against Malaga but will make first use of The Bartons of the season.

You don't have kids, do you?
-
My Little Villain is only 2 but he's going to love all this stuff when hes a bit older - the club do seem to make a real effort for the kids.

Do you not think that getting the kids hooked on going to games is a good idea? Anything to encourage our future support should be welcomed with open arms.

I think it is a great idea for the club to do this and they should be applauded for their efforts. It is great for the kids to be involved at such an early age.
Well done Villa.
