Fair assessment of things dave , this de-pressing weekend of results can all be forgotten tomorrow night hopefully.

Good article Dave

Next year can we have a very boring mid table season. We haven't had on since 2006-07 or maybe even 2004-05 to be exact.

Fait article. Might have been good to mention the fact that many Villa fans gave Lampard a standing ovation at the end. This was mentioned by one of the broadsheets which Chelsea fans obviously don't read.

But yes, I have never heard such vitriol against an opposing player as we gave Terry. When the Holte sang: stand up if you hate Terry" almost all of Villa Park stood including the Trinity. Me too!

Two players at either end of the moral scale. Lampard is a class act and if Chelsea are stupid enough to let him go we should be in there like a shot.

No chance of him coming here - he will get lots of others and far and away over the wage bracket that we are looking at , he will probably stay at Chelsea I reckon if mourinho takes over.

Maybe, but as individuals in likeability stakes, Lampard is to Terry what Mother Teresa is to Idi Amin.
