Especially for eastie, who's been pestering me about it for weeks:
www.exacteditions.com/heroesandvillains
It's not available from Apple for a few days but in the meantime, get ordering.

Nah not for me, dont fancy taking a ipad in the bath
-
Excellent Job. I've missed reading H&V since the post office put the cost up to such ridiculous levels.

Likewise I can't really roll an ipad up and take it into trap 2 at work!
-
Sounds a very good idea as i used to lose my copy before i made it home from the game. Will I be able to purchase individual copies or is it on a subscription basis?
-
Is this the Villa Times thingy everybody is talking about?
-
Good stuff. I've subscribed to WSC using Exact Editions and it works really well on a tablet.
-
Is that the programme? *hides*

Will we be able to get digital back issues all the way back to issue one? As I've moved around more than a gypsy with commitment issues over the last twenty odd years I may have mislaid some (if not all) of my paper copies. Well I say mislaid, the ex wife used them to line the cat litter tray after I left along with my Jam vinyl collection as a disposable poop scoop!
If we can that would be fantastic, or failing that if i could buy the complete collection once again, I probably would - especially the one with my article as a double page spread!
-
Being a bit of a Luddite, does this version download to a kindle?
-
So does this mean H & V are switching off their analogue signal ?

Some of them.

Yes.

No.

Is it available to those who have already paid for a paper subscription?

Crikey dave , ive been on here loads in the last 4 days - how did I miss this thread - update us when the ipad edition is available please :)

I wonder if the club have thought about an online copy of the match programme - could get plenty of interest i think.
-

I would never insult you with the word "free" as such. More like "bonus" for long-standing subscribers who have already coughed up. *cough*

Free.

As a subscriber can you download to kindle and ipad or has it got to be one or the other? I have just paid the subscription dave for a year - would I also be able to use my account for reading on a kindle or can't you use kindle and ipad on the same subscription?
-
Humbug! It will never last! (off to buy a Kindle...)
-

Yes.
Working well on ipad - I see the links for apple and android but apparently it is only available on the new kindle fire and not the normal kindle.
-
Can I get it on ceefax please ;)
-
Excellent idea, especially for fans far and wide.

It was suggested at the last supporters forum prior to the Southampton game.

It wasn't one of the questions that was answered in the response on the official site so I guess we will have to wait and see! Seems like a no brainer considering the number of villans spread around the UK and further away.
-
Agreed- a good way of boosting the coffers .
-
I want to buy! I am a bit slow though, how do I sign up for exact editions? Is there a registration page somewhere? All I can find is a log in screen.
Never mind its buried in checkout Found it.
Boughtified! Thanks for doing this!
That Frank Pattison piece on relegation was great, educational.
-

Yes.
Splendid - I will sign up then. Anything to stop you trying to thrust the magazine into my hands after every game, Dave. Although you probably won't stop doing that ...
-
I had a meeting with some of the team about producing a digital, interactive tablet edition of the programme but they just weren't interested (this was in August 2011). The lack of knowledge on the subject was highlighted when they asked what's the difference between an iPad and a Kindle!

Times are changing and a digital version of the matchday programme seems a no brainer.

Seems to be available on kindle fire but not the original kindle version.
Very happy with the ipad version ;)
-
Signed up and works brilliantly. Yet something else to do when I'm supposed to be working...
-
Can I have a promotional code please?
-
I tried WOODHALL50OFF and it it came up "FUCK OFF!" :-(

I can see where your coming from. But for me it would be a big no! Football Programmes are part of the tradition of going to a match. I'm 28, so for people of my age-group I'm probably in the minority but I have hundreds of programmes. And buying one is still part of the match day experience. Having a digital version would just spoil it. Saying that, you are talking to somebody who buys Vinyl.
Times are changing and a digital version of the matchday programme seems a no brainer.

Worth every single extra penny.

Gents, thank you very much for organising this. As someone who does not live in the UK and who had not taken up the international subscription, this is a very welcome addition. I shall certainly be downloading all the issues now.

You're less scary than the other two

Added the app last night and subscribed for the year. I felt dirty handing over money to Dave and Mac whilst in my bed.
-
I've signed up, Mr W, so no more hassling please.
