Blatter holding a villa shirt!
Apologies if its been posted, couldn't see it.
Part of a Farina story on the OS.
-
He might be a blithering twat who knows next to fook all about football but that is several times the knowledge of Lerner and Faulkner
-
I thought we'd signed a new centre blatt for a moment

he is only slightly slower, fatter and older than Dunne
-
I thought he'd be the last person Farina would be seen with

That shirt would look good on him. So would a Doberman Pinscher
-
You mean worse than the official squad shot with a pair of Mita Copiers where trophies used to be? Nah.
-
Would like to know who's holding the other shoulder - of the shirt.
Bets, please.
I'm going for Nelson Mandela or his significant Other.

I doubt Nelson Mandela has a white hand.

Paul Lambert, before agreeing this would be the year villa went down
-
This will be decided using a formula based on premiership survival points, actual points, points we would have had if it was just the first 45 minutes, Benteke's chest size and daylight savings hours in Birmingham.
Just in case you were wondering.
And, MB: Mandela sometimes wears marigolds.

Brilliant, so a picture of that roach Blatter becomes another opportunity with the very first post to blast our Chairman and Chief Exec. Can there not be a thread where someone doesn't resort to that?
-

Similarly, anyone else remember that picture of the team stood around a Rover 800 with BFR in the driving seat?

Wasn't there a slightly earlier one with SGT sat in the driver seat?

The latest one has Randy Lerner in a sheepskin coat and a flat cap stood next to a yellow Robin Regal - Paul Faulkner can be seen at the rear selling Trevor Francis tracksuits to some of the players.

Doesn't get any better than that as a player - this should be put on canvas. Spinky looks so proud, I bet he's still got that car. Look at Des Bremner workin' it like he's on Top Gear and Sid with his usual stop messing about and get back to work face, classic 80s football.

Tried 'we buy any car' they can't find any of these.

How come Williams and Evans (I think it is) only got to share a car?

Players turned up already changed and parked their cars at the side of the pitch? I'd forgotten we spent a season in the Sunday League!

Spinksy was living with the cousin of a friend of mine and he gave us a lift home from the Talbot Pub in Bearwood in that car the week before the 94 final. I always thought it was an MG Montego rather than the Vanden Plas Maestro. What awful cars...The Vanden Plas Allegro was a sight to behold. The most awful styling ever. Any wonder the place went tits up when they were turning out those cars

Looked like a walrus.

.....at the side of the road when the front axle went .

Shudder!

The McLeish one was my immediate though. A moment that confirmed our decline, as well as our lack of awareness, knowledge and ambition in the boardroom.

Wow 1983 The Champions of Europe, and they get a Maestro. How times have changed, I wonder what cars the current CL winners are driving.
