Title: QPR
Post by: Clampy on November 10, 2012, 08:52:53 AM
I finally got round to buying my QPR tickets yesterday and thanks to dragging my heels, i've ended up with restricted view in the middle. Has anyone sat in these seats? I only ask because we were on the wings last season and we could'nt see a bloody thing.

Isn't there supporting posts in the top tier? If so, you're probably stuck behind one.

Can't believe they're picking pockets for 45 sheets to sit in that shit hole.

I don't think that there are supporting posts

From what I remembered (and what I checked with the AV TO yesterday when I ordered my ticket), the restriction is just a "letterbox" effect because of how the roof slopes

However, the view might genuinely be restricted in the corner

When I called I took 3 tickets in the lower tier, so believe we have both upper and lower. Has anyone received their tickets yet?

I've paid £43 for the restricted view ones or there were some for £38 in the wings but like i said, we could'nt see a thing when we sat there last season. The goal in front of us was completley out of view.

They've only given us 1700 which accounts for upstairs, we'd have had 2500 if it was upper and lower. Strange you've got lower, maybe we've asked for more.

qpr have put the lower tier tickets on general sale.

Been a couple of times and if you are in that top tier you never used to be able to see the goal line nearest the goal. They may have made the pitch smaller since to get round this...

You're quite right, Kingthing. The tickets arrived yesterday and they're in the Upper tier, Block Y6 which is right on the side, and in the back row, so crap view. Really pissed off with the Villa ticket office on this occasion as I called as soon as they went on sale and had a 5 minute conversation as to which part of the ground the tickets were for!! To say I've been misled is an understatement; not happy, particularly as I go to every game.

You need to be in the front row in that Upper Tier to get a good view. Problem is that there is always a load of arseholes in those seats who have to stand up and block everyone else's view.
