I still don't think I have seen a game containing better goals than the first game of that season v. QPR.

Quite.  I was convinced we'd win the title that year, especially after the QPR game.  Andy T and the goal machine Whittingham would make the difference, whereas United had only bought that bloke from Forest.

Great find DM, can't wait to have a look later.

Great to see the goals from the QPR game again. I remember going to that game and pitying the fools who left early and missed 2 great goals!

I went with a mate who drove us there. Yep, he made us leave just before the final whistle when we were 2-1 up. I still remind him of this.

I remember Les Ferdinand almost equalising just before we scored those two late goals.

Got the chance to watch it in full earlier today.  Great to see a vintage Sid spraying the ball about in some of the games.  I still haven't seen a better passer of the ball at Villa Park.

Always remember Townsends last minute winner at Highbury in the league... cue pandamodieum in the old clock end when that one went, we got absolutely battered that game and we ended winning...fantastic

The return at viila park was not so good...i remember Ian Wright getting 90 mins of abuse from the Holte End..."ian wright where's your final gone" to the tune of petshop boys "go west" referring to the fact he was suspended for the up and coming cup winners cup final. The whole match we sung that, then he got a last minute winner in front of the Holte...didnt the Bastard love that...!

Had a massive sense of foreboding when he was getting all that grief, sure enough it came back to bite us on the arse!
