I like it.

Me too, and the end of the day he means business and the sooner everyone realises he is the boss the better.
-
Echoes of Houllier's regime. Dunne may not like it.
-
Good.
Saunders never allowed Morley etc. to twat about with their mobiles at training and it got results.
-
I have no idea if a 500 quid fine for someone on Carruther's wages is a drop in the ocean or not. 10% of his weekly wage maybe? Still, good management. The age we're in means complete dependence on being online is present everywhere.
-
Whatever the fine, I bet he doesn't do it again. Fair play PL.

Had Houllier joined the club in the summer and not after the season has started, and been afforded the financial supportnto clear out troublesome players then we might be on a similar track to where we are now. As it is, it was the wrong time, and too much too fast. The players now may as well get used the new sheriff as he ain't going anywhere and he sets the rules.

Good news, well done PL

Too right. The wheelbarrows would have played fooking havoc with the pitch.

I think Vlaar and Clark were on the phone when Southampton scored their 3rd and 4th.

Both were busy with Time Wasters, replying to "Post about previous poster".

Probably not a great deal to lose for someone on their income, but I guess the message is stronger than the action itself - proves intent.

I wish I could do this at my work. Get so pissed off with the staff more bothered about their phones and facebook , then doing any work.

Saunders, Morley, mobiles? Pagers maybe, but not mobiles?

Gary Shaw still uses two baked bean cans linked by a piece of string to keep in touch.
