Great to read one of these after a win!

The bit in quotes.

I never had you down as a Radio 1 listener Dave I have to say.
I'll have you know I happen to be down with the young people, isn't it.

What did he play?

What did he play?
Knowing Scott Mills it wouldn't be 'Does this train stop on Merseyside?', 'ACAB' or 'Heart as big as Liverpool'.
More likely to be Kylie's 'Better the Devil you know' or McFly's 'Lies'.

Or You'll Never Walk Alone.

Nice one Dave - I liked the last sentence . Living on Merseyside there is no getting away from the legacy of that dreadful day - I have a friend who`s brother died on that fateful day - as soon as the statement was made I contacted him to say I was thinking of him and his family. He appreciated the kind words and said he felt relieved but also numb and hollow at the same time. Each time the media show images of the day it all comes flooding back - all of us have lost loved ones during out lives but we do not get constant reminders of their final minutes of life in graphic details in the media. Many have said unkind and unfortunate things about the "Justice for the 96 Campaigners" - some on here .
I just they too have the humility to admit they were wrong - if not publically, in their own hearts.

Cant argue with anything printed in that article mate spot on.
Saturday cant come quick enough and I cant remember thinking that for some time regarding the Villa.
Next someone will be telling me were on MOTD at a reasonable time!

Good article Dave.

Bang on the money as always, Dave, accept for the bit about the most important footballing story of the last seven days. That was the most important footballing story of the last 23 years and, I would suggest, nothing that happens on an English pitch for many years to come will have anything like the same significance.

Well worth another read Clive.

I bet that was easier to write than the columns of the last year or so. More enjoyable, anyway!
Really good to read after the first win of the season.
The final comment, spot on.
