Pretty much sums up how I feel about things. We saw enough on the weekend to feel optimistic about the team.
-
Good article Dave, and enjoyed the dig at Robbie Savage.
-
Have to agree, I was impressed with the club's/Lamberts no nonsense approach to possible transfer targets who were pricing there players out of a deal.
-
Good read, well-balanced optimism!

Thanks for the article and the link Dave. I was beginning to feel alone as the window closed with so many voices whining - doubting - casting envious glances at other clubs.
But where are all the doom mongers now?
Why is there no bile and vitriol aimed at the owner?
Surely this is the same side who not 3 days ago were doomed to relegation?
Lerner out was the cry. Lambert's bought no one was the complaint - followed by a wish list of who they'd buy - football experts that they are.
That was the best Villa have played since the kids battered Man Utd at VP two seasons ago. We passed the ball - we closed them down - and we made chance after chance.
The revolution has begun and it will indeed be televised. Set to record.

Article linked to on FB site. Dave, could you please change the FB url in the fanzine from the current lengthy one to www.facebook.com/handv which is much more user-friendly. Thank you.

Good article again Dave.

Bollocks, he hasn't run my Luton one yet!
And I am taking the piss before you start!

Good article Dave, and enjoyed the dig at Robbie Savage.
Agreed. I'd be interested to know who at the BBC decided Colin Murray and Robbie Savage should be employed.
