Parking at the leisure centre.

£6 a match, or £115 for the season, which includes cup games.

So, 19 home league matches on the basis of 6 quid a time = £114.

Given that there's no guarantee there will be *any* home cup matches, that's not really that much of a saving in turn for stumping it all up in advance, is it?

Or am I missing something glaringly obvious?

We`ve had a liesure centre car park season tickets for years.
I didn`t realise the savings could be so negligible or nothing.
Having said that it gives us a guaranteed place near the exit, so if we are arriving tight for time its less of a panic.

It's a rubbish offer that no one  should go far and, oh of course, the pleasure of  about 30 minutes queue to leave that carpark is included as well!

The season ticket at King Edwards is pretty good - on a match by match basis it's £5 a pop, but a season ticket is £85 (a straight saving of £10 on league games), and that includes any cup games as well

I expect all you are guaranteeing is a parking spot with a season ticket (same with being guranteed a seat at a Villa game with the match season tickets). So that is one positive. And at the moment of writing you have saved £6 on one cup match if attended.

I might get one this year.  I'll save at least a fiver and I won't have to worry about having £6 in my pocket every match.  If you've ever arrived at the car park at 14:55 and realised you only have £4.80 in cash then you'll know what I mean.

He asked for positives, I gave them. Luckily for me, when I go down it is normally with my brother so he parks at the ICI. Close to the ground, don't have to pay, and if really lucky, we can go leave via the back gate so no traffic build up. Hopefully those details don't give you a heart attack.
