Still £2, available from all your usual sellers (away dept). Subscriber copies will be sent out tonight. There's still time to order one - www.heroespublishing.co.uk/Shop/Fanzine_Subscription.html

I wasn't expecting the first issue to be available yet.
Looks like I'll have to risk the wrath of Legion and pick one up from our leader.
See you tomorrow Dave.
-

How can I inform H&V of my change of address Dave?

Any more news on a pdf or online version? A download for the ipad would be even better :)

Seconded. Us Johnny foreigners are people too!

Hello Dave I will be there on Saturday to pick one up and watch my first game since end of 2010-11 season. Will go to occasionally games.
-
Good. You will get to read the most positive thing I have written in a long while. And a cutting one if my Luton skit finally made it in.

What Luton skit?
-
About why they are fucking horrible.
-
Wasn't that in one last season?
-
Nice to meet you yesterday Dave.
H&V has kept me busy during a very quiet and boring night at work. I've particularly enjoyed the write up on the US tour, sounds like a great trip.
Excellent read as always.
-
It was due in the last one but not used on account of those so pissed off they felt the need to write. If you don't publish the Luton one them you can't have the ones on Everton, Chelsea, Corby and Gloucester Shitty.
-
Ooh, are we allowed to write about teams we hate? Can I write about Nuneaton, Ilkeston and Rushall?
Fuck all to do with Villa mind.

Great. Now I have temperamental artistes to contend with.
-
Talk to my agent mother fucker!
-
Redditch Utd twats. Worcester City tossers. Kiddy inbred wanking Harriers.
You can have the above article for next issue Dave. You don't even have to pay me for it.
-
Now steady on with your tour of those you don't like round here. It will be Stour next!
-
No everyone loves Stour, dissing them would be like kicking the local disabled kid.
-
You leave Robert Hopkins alone Cooper!
-
They started alright this season. Leamington away on Tuesday.

Top of the league.
-
Dave Collett nicked my (unfinished) article! Admittedly, his is much better.
-
Thank you, sir.
How do you blush online ?
-
I mean it. I am (was) half-way through my 'Scapegoats of our time' article about TSM. I couldn't meet the deadline for the first issue. Yours blows mine out of the water.
-
Have to say what a cracking read it is again. The Mr. Angries letters who rant about the ranter made me chuckle too.
-
An excellent read once again.
However, it does not stop me from my usual gripe about "the greatest league in the world" (copyright: Sky Sports). The article on Alex Cropley was particularly poignant - somehow I don't think there will be a similar one in 35 years time (unless it is about Stephen Ireland's pink taxi!).
Oh and thanks Frank Pattison for reminding of that 4 - 0 defeat at St Andrews in 1968 (my one and only visit to that god awful place) - I have been trying to expunge the sheer misery of that afternoon from my memory ever since.
On a positive note - thank to all the contributors - it makes me proud to a be a Villa fan.
-
do you know that a rival publication will be selling around the game tomoro night ?

You did then
-
What is the rival called ?

What is the rival called ?
Villa Times.
And it's not in anyway endorsed by the club -oh no, not at all.
-

Buggeration, sorry - in the post tomorrow. Deadline 20th September.
-
Is it wrong, when you buy a copy of H&V, to turn straight to the articles you wrote and feel smug?

Nope, I used to do just that!
I still remember the first article that I had printed

Well it certainly had the desired effect on my nipper yesterday...

Let me have his views, no matter how young, and will see if I can find an article for him...

Well like most 2 year old's Harrison is a big fan of Mickey and Co. (although just lately Minnie appears to be his firm favourite). He can just about say Villa although not always in context (for example when I ask him if he's tired).
What is nice though is whenever he see's a Villa badge/shirt either in a shop window, on tv or on somebody walking by he immediately points and shouts 'daddy, daddy' in an excited manner, I can only assume this is due to the fact I'm nearly always wearing one too.
Oh and I'm pretty sure he thinks N'Zogbia should be sold at the next available opportunity.
