I just stumbled upon this nice little website whilst looking for a bit of info on Andy Ducat. If you're interested in buying/looking at old football articles this would be a good place to cast your eye.

from the late forties that makes a lovely case for Villa being the greatest club around bar none.
If you look further at some of the other articles you will find an advert from a London sports shop retailing "MacGregor" Boots and shirts in The Aston Villa Style.
I love looking at old stuff like this because it reminds me of what football was like before TV started telling us that it's all about Liverpool/Man Utd and the like. More importantly it reminds me that we were the original giants of the game.
As I say, there's some nice little articles on this site - well worth having a look if you have a spare moment or two.
