CLEAR OFF
Emile Heskey
Carlos Cuellar (begrudgingly)
Gabby Agbonlahor (going nowhere fast)
James Collins
Brad Guzan
LEAVING SENIOR 1st TEAM FRAMEWORK OF:-
Shay Given
Alan Hutton (let's face it....he's going nowhere)
Richard Dunne (need a senior pro)
CB
LB
Charles N'Zogbia
Stephen Ireland
CM
WINGER
Darren Bent
CF
And squad players.......
Stephen Warnock
Ciaran Clark (not sure he's going to be anything other than a squad player though, ideally)
Nathan Baker
Eric Lichaj
Brett Holman
Chris Herd
Marc Albrighton
Nathan Delfouneso
Barry Bannon
Samir Carruthers
Gary Gardner
Meaning we need 4 quality players who will come in and be first team regulars. I'd like to think that these signings will also be 4 of our best players, making a substantial improvement to our side.
Candidates.....worst case, and most likely
Centre Half -
Ideal............Brede Hangeland from Fulham? Ryan Bennett from Norwich? both impressed again this year.
Potential......James Chester from Hull has looked very decent when i've seen him, albeit lower level
Johnny Foreigner?
Left Back - Is there a decent one out there? I've not seen one...Olsson @ Blackburn maybe?
Centre-Mid - James McArthur @ Wigan? Joe Allen @ Swansea? Nigel De Jong @ Man City? Mark Noble @ West Ham? Clayton Ince @ Blackpool? Yossi Benayoun?
Winger - Adam Johnson @ Man City? Victor Moses @ Wigan? Nathan Dyer @ Swansea? Robert Snodgrass @ Leeds?
Centre Forward - Robbie Keane? Andy Carroll? (unrealistic?) Jay Rodriguez @ Burnley?
Some pretty uninspiring names I guess, but are we really going to be able to attract anyone much better after this seasons antics?

Scott Dan, Roger Johnson and Andrew Johnson.

Any of that lot available on a Bosman? If not, scratch them off the list.

I don't think there's much between Dunne and Collins in terms of ability so I'd get rid of Dunne instead, he's older and on a higher wage.

The only way we're going to get rid of either is when their contracts expire.

There's a list of Premier League Bosmans here:
http://www.bosmanlist.com/bosman-summer-2012/england/premier-league-4076623
Unfortunately, it doesn't format well when I try to copy + paste it here.
There's not many there that I'd fancy to make a difference to us without costing us more than the players we've let go.

Dunne would be my first out the door-he's early flurry of goals gave him some good will but he's a liability in my view.
