Good article Dave- already looking forward to next season and to how you will be able to shoe horn the word 'Press' into the titles of your topics.
I may not always agree (but generally do) with the content of your articles but your viewpoint and arguments have been a very fair reflection of a wretched and miserable season. Roll on August with some significant changes on and off the pitch.

Agreed - always a good read.

These articles have been one of the highlights of the season for me. I'm not sure if that's a commentary on Dave's journalistic skill or on how bad things have been for Villa ;)
All joking aside, well done Dave for carrying a line all season that the majority of villa fans would subscribe to. No mean feat.

Paroxysms. Taxed, thankyou very much

I couldn't agree more Dave good article.

Short and sweet - lets hope the ramifications of the inquest are not long and bitter.
I am looking for a glimmer of hope from the owner like many others I guess.
Until then the credit card stays well and truly locked in the wallet.
Enjoy the close season Dave - hopefully see you in August

I like the point about sendings-off having less impact than they used to, and the suggestion that this is because of players' fitness.
-
QPR: Their player sent off when we're 1 up, we concede late equalizer.
WBA: we get player sent off when 1 up and lose 2-1.
Arse: Hutton off, too late to make any difference either way.
Wolves: Henry sent off and we actually get a winner.
Sunderland: CG sent off, too late to make a difference.
Spurs: Player sent off when we're 1up, and we're pretty lucky to get away with a 1-1.
I make that once this season where we've done better once a player from either side has been sent off. Compared to 3 times where we've dropped points after a red card.
Yes, I am so bored I looked it up.
