While every win is enjoyable, my highlight of the season would be the win at the Bridge of dreams in Stamford.
-
The performance v Arsenal at VP.
-
Maybe we should lock the thread.
-
Probably Walsall away pre-season. Fun day out, and I genuinely thought we were gonna have a good season after that.
-
Stan vs Everton
Stan vs Chelsea
Weimann vs Stoke
Crowd in 19th minute vs Chelsea
Gabby vs Blackburn
N'Zogbia vs QPR
I think that's about the lot.

Weimann vs Fulham
Lichaj's goal against Chelsea

Definately destroying Chelsea on new years eve. I walked to the tube afterwards thinking that we were on the up. This lasted until the next game against Swansea. >:(
-
Chelsea away.
Norwich at home was an entertaining game, the only one we've had at Villa Park all season.
Robbie Keane against Wolves.
That's it.
-
-
Pre match drinking at Fulham. Oh and post match drinking at Fulham.

Pre match drinking at Fulham. Oh and post match drinking at Fulham.
Went to VMF the day after Fulham and had a lovely meal.
But footballing wise what stuck out for me was Gabby's 2nd goal against Norwich.
-
Heskey's Cruyff turn.
Weimann v Fulham
Weimann v Stoke
19th minute v Chavski
Chavski away
Norwich home
The first half at the New Library in the cup.
Chris Herd.
Seeing Gardner and Carruthers on the pitch.
Keane at Wolves.
-
the free pie
the streaker toying with the stewards (would have been waaaay better had it been a lady!!)
the pitch looking like a snooker table.
i've taken very little if any pleasure from the football.
-
Only done a few games this season so i'll go for Arsenal away in the cup minus the second half, a top day out.
-
Heskey's goal against Blackburn.
-
Coming from behind to beat Wolves
-
Coming from behind to beat Wolves
Yeah I'd agree.
-
Chelsea away and having a copper coming running into the toilets to tell me we'd scored a third.
First half of Arsenal and seeing the reaction in the bars at half time, that game really really hurt.

Exactly these (apart from the toilet bit). Chelsea was superb, as was the half time mardis gras at Arsenal. Shame the next 15 minutes was so (predictably) dreadful.
-
Yep - Chelsea away for me too. Can't remember the last time I've been to a Villa away game where the stewards told us to "sit anywhere you like". I told him that for the £57 quid I'd paid I'd like to sit in the dugout.
And Arsenal in the cup, just for the first half.
-
Highlight for me:
Not setting foot in Villa Park, season 2011/12.

These.

Being in line with Gabby on the Holte End when he let fly against Blackburn on the opening day. After that, the Chelski result was merely a blip on an otherwise uninterrupted downward trajectory.
-
Nothing springs to mind apart from the win at Stamford Bridge so I'll go for one I hope to see and choose staying in the Premier League...

Not doing a DVD this year - just a single photo of a truly defining moment: AM Standing outside the Trinity waving a Villa scarf.
All downhill from that moment!

They could do an hour of Chelsea away and 5 minutes of everything else.
-
Pre match drinking at Fulham. Oh and post match drinking at Fulham.
This, on the banks of the Thames, glugging Peroni.
If its something on the pitch you're after then Gabby's screamer versus Blackburn at home. I've seen us win in the flesh once since.
-
Can't think of one right now.
-
erm.................... rumours of a takeover
-
Has to be Chelsea, I also thought it was going to be a turning point
-
Can't wait for the season review dvd
Fuck me I bet that's going to be the worst selling season review in history, Either that or make a best bits and charge 99p
-
Only done a few games this season so i'll go for Arsenal away in the cup minus the second half, a top day out.
Seconded.
-
Am I allowed to say Liverpool's rubbish league form?
For us, the win at Chelsea surely stands out.
I quite enjoyed Bristol Rovers in the Cup and the first half of our Cup match against Arsenal.
-
Actually begin to believe that Mcleish might be gone.
-
Finding a bar in bolton town centre that sold £1.25 pints of carlsberg, also chasing the pints with £1 shots of goldschlager. And we got our 1st away win that day!
Bristol.R away was a good day out too, apart from missing the last train home.
That is literally it.
-
The subs kicking balls at those zorb things during half time.
-
Chelsea and Wolves away.
-
Chelsea and Wolves away.
Yes, Wolves away was good fun.
-
Robbie Keane was my highlight.
-
Robbie Keane was my highlight.
Mr Keane on the field, Mrs Keane off it!
-
Highlight for me:
Not setting foot in Villa Park, season 2011/12.
Sad to say it, but seconded.
-
Blackburn away. My only away fixture this season and it was quite enjoyable. Nothing else springs to mind.
-
Chelsea away. Best new years ever. Topped off with a cracking night.
Keane vs Wolves.
Bristol Rovers away.
And wigan at home.
-
winning at chelsea thats about it

Weimann's goal v Fulham. I wasn't even there, I was up a stepladder listening to the radio, but it's moments like that which are the reason I follow the Villa.
-
The applause every 19th minutes since Stan had to finish his season. And also the reception that the opposition fans have also given. It's great to see (and hear). I also thought that there was a great mutual appreciation between the fans for Fabrice and Stan during the Bolton game's applauses for both players. Touchingly observed.
On the pitch, not a lot. Chelsea away. Robbie Keane robbing us a win over Wolves. Some questionned whether Keano had enough impact on our points tally. Those 3 points may well be the difference for us. It was game we were struggling in and could easily have lost.

How's the broken neck by the way? ;)

The missus thought I'd electrocuted myself

Sums it up for me, both about Stan and the on-pitch affairs.

Winning at Norwich, staying up and AM getting the sack the next day.
It could happen!

Yes this'll be the day I also win the lottery and look down to find my old chap has doubled in size. Quite what I'll do with a 20 inch luncheon meat sword is beyond me though.
-
Taking one of my nephews to his first ever football match (Wigan) and seeing the lad transform from "quite liking Chelsea" to plastering the wall next to his bunkbed with Villa posters and scarfs and playing for his local footie team. We can say what we like about our shit season but the Villa can still fire the imagination of 8 year old boys.
-

I remember you telling me about that.
Were'nt you having a shit at the time?
