Good article Dave I must admit I was emotional when it got to the 19th minute on saturday it was well observed we do need a win from somewhere and where better than at Liverpool.

"Astonian gloom" ?

Is that a new music genre, sort of shoe-gazing for the 21st century ?

Interestingly, McLeish didn't applaud, even though the whole Villa bench applauded.  Hell, even the Celtic Manager stood and applauded, during the match.  But no, not our own Manager.

Good article Dave.

Yes, Liverpool are a bit shaky at the moment, aren't they!

Come on you Villa boys.
Good article.

Things must be bad when the word ''press'' isn't pressed into the title somehow.

There's plenty of sticks to beat our manager with at the moment but watching the interview he gave today outside the hospital in London where he accompanied Stan, I think it's fair to say he cares about his player as much, if not more than we do.

That's not a good observation. It's been abundantly clear since this news broke how it has affected McLeish. He's been incredibly good about it throughout.

Definitely getting shorter. By the last game of the season it will just be the score.

'gathering Astonian gloom' is about right, though.
