Guilty as charged (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-17210911)
The son of former football star Trevor Francis has denied burgling the home of ex-England and Aston Villa player Lee Hendrie.
James Francis, 24, from Solihull, is charged with burgling the Rowington home of Mr Hendrie between July and August last summer.
Mr Francis appeared at Warwick Crown Court earlier and has been released on bailed.
He has been ordered to appear for trial at the same court on 8 October.
His father Trevor, a sports commentator, has 50 England caps and was a striker for Birmingham City, which he later managed.
He also managed and played for Sheffield Wednesday and played for Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, Rangers and Queens Park Rangers.
Lee Hendrie plays for Kidderminster Harriers in the Conference league. His former clubs include, Sheffield United, Leicester and Blackpool.

I was only pulling your leg :-)

Better?
-
Hopefully that will be the heading in October.

Andy Gray's just offloaded a house in Rowington as well. Is/was that an enclave for Villa players from a particular era?
-
Rowington isn't that big, I used to work for a farmer who had some land in Rowington and there are some nice houses there.
-
Strange how Hendrie would have his property burgled by a mate shortly before going bankrupt. I wonder how the insurance people view this.
-
I blame the parents. If the son is found guilty then the Dad should be publically flogged,or banned from football summerizing.

It was and the areas around still attract footballers, managers and cricketers (James Collins and Ian Bell being the newest recruits).
-
I lived not far from there for a while. There was a nice little pub called the Cockhorse iirc.
-
Or the Rowhorse at Cockington once I'd had a few.

Duly modified.
It's still the title of the link.

Played football with James Francis for a few years he always was a cocky shit! He used to house sit for Hendrie to make some extra money.

Duly modified.
