Blackburn (a)
Fulham (h)
Arsenal (a)
Chelsea (h)
How many points?
-
2 points i'm afraid which isn't enough.
-
1 or 2 and I genuinely believe that.
-
We need a win at Blackburn. Fulham are looking a handful up front and with our poor defence and presuure from the home crowd it could get messy. Have a horrible feeling we will be looking at a point.
-
Hate to say but 3 if we're lucky. Anyone any idea when the Bolton game will be?

I'd rename it our Cup Final...

On Sky they'll build it as 'Relegation Sunday', I can see it now.
-
I'm going a bold four. Always been a soldier of fortune, me.
-
I think we will get 4 points from those games.
-
Blackburn (a) - LOSE
Fulham (h) - WIN
Arsenal (a) - LOSE
Chelsea (h)- DRAW
4 points.
-
Does anyone actually believe he'd be sacked if we lost all four or that Randy would actually notice?
-
I think we need to be after 4 points from the first two. After that it gets harder to judge as they are better teams, but struggling a bit be their own standards and our best two performanes so far this season have come against them, even though we only won one of those games.
-

They might get round to sacking him by the time it was too late, as for Lerner, it's patently obvious that he's lost all interest and although McLeish has been awful, Lerner has avoided most of the criticism up till now.
Next time he's wanking off over that letter from Ferguson (I sincerely hope he's had it laminated), he needs to look at that Villa tattoo on his ankle and remember his remarks about 'being a custodian of the club.'

Yes he's equally culpable for making such a fucking atrocious appointment in the first place. However that error is being massively compounded by not biting the bullet and getting rid of him. If we go down it's going to cost him a lot more money.

DWLD, an optimistic 5 for me.
-
DDLL
2 points.
-
Blackburn (a) 0-0 Draw
Fulham (h) 1-1 draw
Arsenal (a) 0-2 loss
Chelsea (h) 0-1 loss
2 points
-
LDLD. 2 points.
Mind you that could change if anything happens on the managerial front.
-
DWLD, an optimistic 5 for me.
I'd take 5 points.
-
Think we will win on Saturdy, draw with Fulham and lose following two.
-
Five.
-
Blackburn (a) 0-2 defeat
Fulham (h) 0-0 draw
Arsenal (a) 0-3 loss
Chelsea (h) 0-2 loss
-

Blackburn - draw
Fulham - draw
Arsenal - lose
Chelsea - lose
Two points, which will be nothing like enough.
-
Blackburn - Lose
Fulham - draw
Arsenal - lose
Chelsea - lose
1 point which will hopefully mean curtains for Mcshit
-
Just saw on Twitter from AVFC Official that our game v Bolton at home is now on Tuesday 20th March at 7:45pm. March is a massive month for us.
-
Blackburn - Lose
Fulham - draw
Arsenal - lose
Chelsea - lose
I'll go with that, but I think we'll beat Bolton at home, so it's four points from those five games, for me. I just have a feeling Blackburn will be more positive than us and roll us over, and Fulham are beginning to click, I think.
Arsenal and Chelsea have had their blips.
-
Blackburn - Scrape a win, covering up the problems we have for a little longer.
Fulham - Drab draw in front of a low crowd.
Bolton - Loss.
Arsenal - Surprise victory a la last season.
Chelsea - Loss.
Even I'm against McLeish now, yet I'm still overly optimistic. 7 points from this month would be useful but still think with a proper manager we'd be looking at 10-15.
-
I could easily see us losing all four matches but slightly more realistically I think we will get 1 point.
Nothing will change either way. I doubt if RL will even notice.
-
2 points, including the Bolton game.
I can see us getting chuff all quite easily too. I just think we're shite at the minute. We have a reasonable buffer of 7 points over those below and to some extent we're resting on our laurels a bit. No one is busting a gut. When we play Blackburn and Bolton we'll find it tough because they'll want it more and I think will put a bit more into the game.
By the start of April we might well be truly in the shit, and then it'll be very tough at that point to hit any sort of form. I think the desperation factor is suddenly setting in for the bottom 5 now (bar QPR), and so they going for it more and might pull off a few results here and there.
We're still playing far too safe and without any passion or commitment. It's woeful in truth. We're not playing the same godawful Blackburn we did early season. They're shite, but they've improved somewhat, at the very least in team spirit and graft.
-
Bolton is now Tuesday March 20th....
-
I went for 3 points initially but with Bolton now still in March I'll up that to 6 points from the 5 games.
-
3 for me now. Another draw.
-
1 point against Fulham.
Eck would have already written off the Arsenal and Chelsea games.
-
Now bolton has been moved I feel more confident, I think we can beat them
-
7 points.
Blackburn (a) D
Fulham (h) W
Bolton (h) D
Arsenal (a) D
Chelsea (h) D
-
Don't forget Bolton.
-
Christ, 3 trips to VP in my birthday month. How depressing.
-
Two points maximum..a draw against Fulham and Bolton
-
Christ, 3 trips to VP in my birthday month. How depressing.
Same for me.
-
I thought we would struggle in these games before it was confirmed Bent was out for 3 months, I can't see us getting more than a point now.
-
Christ, 3 trips to VP in my birthday month. How depressing.
Did you upset someone for that gift?!
-
we need 6 points from the BBurn Fulham and Bolton, I think we will get 4 which means we will be in a relegation scrap
-
It is MARCH we're talking about here, the month MON's Villa sides always faded away – as did GH's last season!
Our league record in March over the last five seasons is Played 19, Won 1 (Wigan away), Drew 8, Lost 10.
Was it just O'Neill though I wondered?
I searched further desperately looking for a stat to give me hope but gave up after going back over the last 10 seasons of March misery (P36, W6, D11, L20).
What about our current manager, surely March has been a good month for him? Nope, last season at Small Heath... P3 W0 D1 L2. Help!
But hang on, there is something... the law of averages!
Put me down for five straight wins and challenging for Europe come Easter.
-
Under MON a bad month for us, but this time round I'm going to say we'll pick up 7 points. 2 wins against fulham and blackburn and a drawn against arsenal.
-
1 point for me!
-
I'm going for 7 points!
Wins against Fulham and Bolton and a draw against Chelsea.
Oh I feel good............................
-
The more flak he cops, the more he will revert to type. Expect some very negative play and us somehow picking up four points.
