Title: Reserves v WBA
Post by: Percy McCarthy on February 21, 2012, 07:03:33 PM
My son told me we won 4-1 with Weimann getting a hat-trick and Lichaj scoring the other one, so I came on here to read all about it. Surprised no-one has posted anything, or maybe he's got his facts wrong?

He's right you know. Link (http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~2618845,00.html).

Well done Andreas and the Villa babbies!

Oh good. I'm glad he hasn't gone senile at 14. Top of the table clash weren't it?

I'd like to think one or both will figure in our next game.
Good to see Chris Herd had an hour too.

Since these turned into workday afternoon things it's no surprise they've been sidelined to the H&V's 'News In Brief' column under the racing results from Kempton.

Top vs second place. I followed it on twitter as I sit next to a really sound WBA fan at work. We pissed all over them, but I get the impression from my mate that they were probably only fielding a second string reserve side, as a load of their players (12 i think) are out on loan. Bannan set up the first two, Stevens the third, and Lichaj I am led to believe was a solo effort.

Still, can only beat what is in front of you and all that. Hatricks for Weimann against both Wolves and West Brom then. Good stuff

Albion have a British Asian player.

Would be great if he could make it in the Premier League.

Tried listening to it on AVTV but the sound output and (commentary) were shocking. Good result though and Weiman is on fire at moment.

Why would Albion be playing Blues at Villa Park?

Why would Albion be playing Blues at Villa Park?

It would be the only way either could get a 30K 'home' gate?
