Ireland, N'zog and Keane. Should be some good movement there behind Bent.

Just had a quick gander at the facebook page, fuck me I thought we was miserable on here but they're on a completely different level.

QPR v Villa: Kenny, Young, Ferdinand, Onuoha, Taiwo, Derry, Barton, Wright-Phillips, Mackie, Cisse, Hulse. Subs: Hill, Hall, Smith, Cerny, Ephraim, Macheda, Balanta.

On paper that defence looks reasonably strong.  Might get some joy down the right against Taiwo making his debut, going from  Ligue 1 to Serie A he probably won't be used to the pace yet.

Get Ireland central , not on the wing .

Looks like he is wide, only other option is a 4-3-3 with Keane wide which wouldn't really suit either.

Not going tonight (been travelling to Birmingham and back alot lately and couldn't justify another trip, especially mid week).

So I realise I'm part of the problem (especially as my seat is paid for), but my word Villa Park looks empty.

Our problem is that most matches, we manage to look OK for a spell, but seemingly every week we have to have a spell of at least 30 mins where we're utterly hopeless.

Warnock is certainly being paid to make us lose. Far east betting syndicate is my guess.

It has to be something like that.  No professional footballer can this be crap for this long can he?

The manager is at fault because he can't organise a defence to save his life.

The chairman is at fault because he watched the first half of the season and couldn't see we were so shit at the back we needed more bodies.

You now how everything that costs a lot these days is described in terms of how many nurses' or soldiers' salaries they'd pay for.  Eg Hester's bonus would pay for 50 nurses a year, that sort of thing?

Well Warnock cost us £8m.  That would pay for (takes socks off to count toes)  roughly 200 nurses and 200 soldiers!

Really ? I`ll look you up in May shall I?

We have this discussion every year when we go through our slump, admittedly we've been a lot worse than recent years during our annual moan, but there's a reason we have a reputation for being fickle and perhaps the most pessimistic fans in the country, and it's because we always write ourselves off midway through the season.

Like I say, there's worse teams than us in the division, and I highly doubt we finish in the bottom 6. Not to say I'm not extremely worried about our  team at the moment mind, I just don't think we have any chance of going down.

QPR got way to comfortable after the 2nd, allowed us back in after a lot of pressure, I seriously believe we ave them on the ropes now AM must step up to the plate and instil into the lads they have to go for it and turn this side over, we can get the 3pts now, team talk is now vital and the way Villa respond in the first 10 mins when we come out, quick goal and then a third for the winner.

Dunne was as much at fault for the second goal.

And the 1st

Warnock gave the ball away to start the move that led to the 1st - then a deflection to C isse and an unstoppable shot - can't see where Dunne was to blame there,

2nd goal Warnock could have done anything with the ball - there was no QPR player near him so what was doing???? OK, Dunne missed the header but that doesn't excuse Warnock.

I hated DOL he is a complete prat, I like McLeish he seems a decent fellow, however it does seem his management of us is not going to happen. Too much against him, from not being wanted by the majority to not being good enough to use his skills on players at his disposal. That though is our problem whoever we get in will be in that same boat.

Completely agree, the only thing they have going in there favour is the fact that Hughes organizes a team pretty well, difficult to keep that up for 90mins though when your under pressure.

Just got in and the match isn't live so will watch recording early morning.

Strange commentary from you lot. We are crap, relegation fodder, had enough, manager a c, better team, should win it, gonna win and now best going forward all season...?

Sounds like our beloved Villa to me. Are we really crap, again?

At least Hutton has offered something going forward.  I don't thunk he's anywhere near as bad a Warnock is right now.

Relegation anyone? :(

Don't be silly, while we look like a team in relegation form, there's plenty of teams worse than us.

Problem is the slump in form at home this season has been from August onwards. It is a poor league this year and whilst there may be "weaker" teams than us I can easily see at least one team being dragged into a relegation tussle - right now I would put Villa in that category - This " we are too good to go down" is false optimism. The second half will tell us whether we have the fight and spirit to help us climb the table. A defeat here followed by one on Sunday will set the alarm bells ringing as would defeat at home to Mancheter City. I hope I am wrong but I hate to say it but I`ve seen these signs in the past.

If there's one player we could have done with against these it would be gabby. They look  pretty poor to me and I'm expecting us to win this game. Bannan on for petrov if we don't score in the first 10 mins please.

Completely agree, the only thing they have going in there favour is the fact that Hughes organizes a team pretty well, difficult to keep that up for 90mins though when your under pressure.

McLiesh approaches this right and I can't see a problem.

The problem is eck's half time chats seem to have the opposite effect.

Well, that's a really good goal from us which shows that we CAN be decent going forward,  it the defensive work really is shoddy, to say the least.

Also, this bloke might have sorted out a decent wedding here.

Warnock needs hauling off.

Awful, again. But there is hope. C'mon Bent, let's see numbers 101 and 102 before full time...

Wouldn't say we where awful, we lack a flow and pace up front, a lot of passing has been awful, defence poor.

But QPR certainly we should exploit there left, he looks worse (LB) than Warnock.

Possibly a worse manager but nowhere near as big a c***.

...he'd probably have spent it on Titus Bramble and Anton Ferdinand.
Would we have splashed out on Bent?

Your fegg
Why haven't we spent a few quid on a defender or two?
When you see the amount we have spent of defenders in replacing the likes of Bouma, Laursen and Melberg it is quite shocking that we have never really replaced them.

When you think of the amount spent on Davies, Cuellar, Dunne, Warnock and Collins, the mind boggles.
Zat? Wasn't he 4 Million or so? Young's come and gone. It really is a bloody mess.

QPR must be one of the worst sides in the Prem, lots of froth and loads of bubble in the 2nd but its goal that win games and against a very poor side IMO we should have nailed that.

And do QPR have some special dispensation from FIFA, whereby they can use hands and arms as well as legs.

Overall, good game, poor result.

38 shots against 6 and we don't win. We are crap at finishing which matches our defence. It's good there are teams worse than Villa, otherwise we would be certain relegation prospects and may be yet .
