Title: Les Rowlands 1919-2012

My great Uncle Les passed away peacefully earlier this afternoon. Fanatical Villa fan in his prime, and saw the best and the worst of the Villa.

On one occasion, when Villa had given the Blues a tonking at VP, he decided to drive back home past St Andrews where there had been a reserve game on. Winding down the window, he called out to a passing Bluenose asking if he had seen the Blues score at VP. The Blues supporter replied he had not, to which Les informed him that the Villa had stuffed them out of sight, and drove away laughing his head off.

Top man, RIP Uncle Les.
