AM singing Scottish national anthem. ;D

He is much more likeable than Houllier that's for sure.
Tbh, I don't understand why McLeish would leave the Scotland job to take over at Blues.
Surely as a proud Scotsman, there is no greater honour than managing Scotland.
Why would you leave the honour of that job to manage Blues?
Hardly one of the giants of English football...

And that's one of the most frustrating things about him.
-
He strikes me as being a top bloke, I'm just still to be convinced he's a top manager.
-
Alan Hutton?
-
His cousin. Alan isn't allow chow burgers, especially not in front of his gaffer.
-
Seems a decent bloke.

Think he tripled or quadrupled his salary at the Blues. Also I think he had his reputation enhanced when he left Scotland, they had just beaten France, that wasn't going to get any better.

Not Sure his reputation was enhanced by Scotland - he took over from Smith when they were half way through and were top, unbeaten and then failed to qualify even when they beat France away, who did. That's not too clever.

I think if wasn't so scared of losing he might stand a chance

That's what really bothers me when people think he has integrity. A friend of mine is a Hibs supporter and hates him so much for his manner of departure from them that he hopes we lose every game whilst he's in charge. He has form for fucking off as soon as what he sees as a bigger job comes off. Luckily, I don't think that is something we'll need to worry about.
