This will probably trigger another Randy/AM bashing session, but I don't see the harm in it myself.

If only Hutton and Heskey could go with him .

Who is our left back cover?

I thought he looked quite good last year at left back, if a little over enthusiastic in the tackle.

Who is our left back cover?

I'd say Clark would have played there before Baker anyway.

Fair point. Still see Clark as more centre defence/mid

Good luck to him. Surprised he hasn't made the bench so far this season given he played a bit in the second half of last season.

As usual, up to him how much he makes out of this loan.

Lichaj played ahead of him v Hereford and should be back soon and I think Lowry was on the bench with Baker that night also so there are a number of comparable alternatives.  Didn't Delph do a decent job there last season as well for a game or two.

He did, but it just wasn't a very good job.

Better job than Baker made of the first half v Wolves when he was hauled off or the Blackburn match when he was sent off for a reckless lunge.  Herd would probably slot in there ok also.

Yeah, just read that; I suspect he will not feature for us again, given that he he is coming to the end of his 2 year contract next June.

Lowry isn't good enough for prem. Baker was promising in some games for us and less so in others but I would say would still have a decent chance of making it here in terms of being in the 18 when he comes back.

Don't forget Nathan is a left sided, ball winning centre back in the mould of Martin Laursen not a left back.  I really rate him as a centre back. As a left back he is OK but his limitations are exposed.
Lowry is playing really well in the reserves but I don't see him being quite good enough for the premier.

Millwall fans said Lowry played CB and Baker was at LB and that Lowry was the better of the two today.

Seems weird considering their natural positions have been swapped.

Also worth mentioning that this was Millwall's first cleansheet.

Lowry's best position is also centre back and we lined up in the reserve match at West Brom last week with Baker at left back and Lowry in the middle.  Baker is probably a tad more versatile but playing left back is not either of their preferred positions.

A clean sheet for Millwall with Baker and Lowry in defence. A clean sheet for Doncaster with Beye in defence. A goal for Gardner in a Coventry defeat.  The loans seem to be working out quite well at the moment.

I'm not sure I can take much more bad news, Habib doesn't want to come back? That's it, we're doomed now.
