Get in quick to bag a claret and blue classic in our charity bidding battle.

The eBay auction for the signed match-issued shirts of our star names has just begun so don't delay - feel free to start putting in offers now.

The auction follows Villa's decision to donate the commemorative shirts from Saturday's win to help raise funds for a very worthwhile charities.

All 13 shirts, including those of the used subs, had a special poppy embroidered on the front to commemorate the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces.

They are now being auctioned with all funds being handed to the Royal British Legion.

The SIGNED shirts of Shay Given, Alan Hutton, Stephen Warnock, Richard Dunne, James Collins, Stiliyan Petrov, Chris Herd, Charles N'Zogbia, Emile Heskey, Darren Bent, Gabby Agbonlahor, Stephen Ireland and Jermaine Jenas are all available.

All these match-issued shirts will come with an official AVFC certificate of authenticity.

In each of the past two seasons, the bidding battle has managed to reach in excess of £7,000.

It is hoped that a similar sum will be raised this season from these special shirts which were worn to commemorate the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces.

The Royal British Legion is the nation's leading Armed Forces charity, providing care and support to servicemen and women past and present and their families.

It is best known for its annual Poppy Appeal and its emblem, the famous red poppy.

Gabby has a slight lead over Bent, with Heskey making up the top 3. Hutton and Warnock bring up the rear.
