Title: Bolton away
Post by: Kingthing on November 06, 2011, 09:52:09 PM
Has anyone else noticed that the ticket information for this game on the OS has been merged with the Swansea information? Its starts by saying they're on sale this Wednesday but then gives the price and allocation for the Swansea game.

Does anyone know how much the Bolton tickets are? I'll ring up tomorrow but just thought I'd ask.

I'm hoping to go to this.
Do we usually get a good allocation? I'm a season ticket with no away games so far this season.

Asking as I had a bad experience being about 10 from the front of the queue when they sold out for the semi up there a few years back.

On the Everton website Bolton have initially offered them 3700 so, with a season ticket, you shouldn't have a problem even if we only get half of that.

2800 is the allocation. that will be the lower tier like last season.

everton's 3700 will be the whole of the lower and half of the upper.

I've been had on this game, my mates booked the tickets, he thought it would be a good idea to get the train because it was 'Abit cheaper', not realising it's 4 trains there then 4 back.

It's going to be a long day.

Wolves are away at Man Utd the same day so could be an interesting journey if catching the train.

Buy a same day return and split your journey as follows:

Birmingham to Stoke on Trent
Stoke on Trent to Stockport
Stockport to Horwich Parkway

This comes to aroung £28 (ish) and you are not restricted with times etc.

I have a feeling you are seeing the wrong tickets there. It's Birmingham to Stafford, Stafford to Stockport, Stockport to Horwich. The cheaper way from Stoke means a change onto a Virgin Train, as the ticket is VT Only. May be wrong, but I looked at that.
