Gabby looks better this season.

Petrov seems to have found a bit more energy.

Warnock, Dunne and Collins are better than I had hoped.

Herd looked good in his one game.

It's a sort of positive.   Alex McLeish handles the media well and has not made many verbal gaffes of the kind Houllier specialized in.

I still think he is a DIY enthusiast trying to pass himself off as a master craftsman.

I've never met ez so I can only use my imagination. But I must admit that I hadn't noticed that Emile had a pair of breasts. But thinking about it, I have heard people shouting "Heskey you tit"
Now I know what they were referring to.

And the biggest positive of all ......We're not Small Heath!!

Real Madrid just followed up a defeat at the weekend with a 0-0 with only 2 shots on target!

We're not the only ones.

I got home 10 minutes earlier that anticipated last night due to leaving after about 80 minutes (only ever left once before that - losing to Coventry at home in the FA Cup).

We could be 3rd in the league by the end of the weekend.

I agree, we were crying out for a ball to be held up to allow others to join....if we are playing hoof ball we need a hold up striker

Positives - Gabby looking better ditto Dunne

Given, Dunne, Warnock, Gabby, still unbeaten in the league (ahem), Kevin MacDonald promoted to first team coach and McLeish has yet to put his foot in his mouth a la Houllier

Not all bad news, just an absolute dog shit performance last night...

Greece is going to default on its loans so we will get Jean II Makoun back and he will be so shocked by what has happened to him he will start playing like a demon.

Italy will default and italian football will implode.   Ditto Portugal and Spain.

The Tea Party candidate will defeat Obama and all the US bankers will get well again and have their taxes minimized.   Randy will cheer up and give McLeish the money to buy James Milner back.

Work commitments meant I missed the Bolton game, which is a positive!

Not so positive for the poor fecker who I gave my ticket to though, he seems to have stopped answering my calls.

Positives are that we've only lost once this season, we are more solid at the back, Gabby is back and our other attacking players can only get better.  Lot's to improve upon but it's not ALL doom and gloom.
