wierd story but given our limited options surely worth a 10 month contract ?

Wouldn't mind him in the squad, but I still can't get over the disgusting paper talk.

No thanks.  He's been going downhill for a long, long time.  He'd be this season's Pires.

Surely he'd be a more effective Prem player than Pires.

Not good enough anymore, he'll go to QPR.

I'd rather have Bayleaf the Gardener.

I thought he retired?
Wouldn't want him though. It wouldn't be on a Pires level of badness, but he's definitely not the player he was, nor good enough at this level any more.

Did'nt he retire to look after his lad who has cancer?

It turned out he didn't even have a son.

That's right apparently he doesn't even have a son, let alone one with cancer.
Who spreads these awful stories ?
 >:(
Personally, I think he would be a much better bet than Pires as a useful squad player, if he is available.
He was a regular in the Prem last season and still one of Sunderland's best performers.

Appetite has gone for the game according to his coach at St Ettiene. Good player, but if his appetite has gone will be useless for anyone.

And agreed on the Gardner front, I want to see him in the side soon.
