Title: Villa 2-0 S Bucharest 1998
Post by: Deano's Mullet on September 03, 2011, 02:16:22 PM: Perhaps the last true highlight of Brian Little's reign and two quality strikes. One of Savo's best performances and goals and easily one of Collymore's even if he didnt score. Considering Yorke didnt play in this game i thought our front two were quality that night and Lee Hendrie was in that early honey moon period after he'd broke into the team.

Also, which was the match that Savo scored in, in extra time, to win us a UEFA match. Remember it was scored at the North Stand.

Except we had to change when we went to Madrid and also had to change when we played them at Villa Park!
