Beggars belief...

Hmm. So many questions. How is it that Joe Hart and Kompany are worth £22m each yet Valdes and Pique are only valued at £15m each, Zabaleta £20m?, Maxwell £26m? and who’s Greg Cunningham?
What it the article supposed to prove? Man City have a higher value squad so that makes them the best team on the planet?
-
Nielsen £4m? Cunningham £4m? Nimely £4m? Onuoha £10m? SWP £15m?
Compare those with...
Afellay £8m, Hleb £4m, Adriano £6m, Puyol £10m, Pique £15m...
Pique was ranked 4th best player in the world 2 years ago, can someone please tell me how Wright-Phillips is worth the same?
Don't know what they're trying to prove with this, but looking at some of these values, it voids the point they're trying to make.
*Edit... Just noticed they seem to think Gareth Barry is worth more than Xavi..!??!
-
How can Clichy be worth £18 million , when he was signed for £7 million about 2 weeks ago..
-
SWP...£15 million...I'm sure there are a host of clubs queuing up to get the near 30 year old on a 4 year contract today.
and Mascherano...£37 million???
-
That's so hilariously wrong.
-
Sergio Aguero has played 3 games since joining Man City. His value has suddenly doubled.
Complete and utter bollocks.
-
That's the maddest fucking thing I've ever seen.
-
Maybe that's what they all earn a year! ;)
-
Seriously, whose phone did they tap to get those valuations? A crack addict's? Barry at more than Xavi looks like the ravings of a crack addict.
-
I don't see the point in those figures, as Barca didn't pay for most of their players. Oh and Mascherano at £37m? Good grief.
-
To be fair, the Sun has the same sort of relationship with accurate reporting as Himmler did with race relations.
-
A player is worth what somebody is prepared to pay for him.
But the only club which would be prepared to pay those prices for those players would be......Manchester City.
And they *already own* them.
-
I would still rather have Barcelona's squad than Man Shitty's any day.
-
Man City squad = £400m
Messi = £401m
-
No one seems to have pointed out that they have 31 players in the Citeh ones compared to 22 players on the Barca list.

Including a few really overvalued youngsters and missing out loads of Barca youngsters who would be valued so much more highly. It is, overall, the work of a certifiable lunatic.
-
Stuart Taylor £3m eh?.... that's a lot for a 31 year old who's played 68 league games in his career (38 of which were on loan at lower league clubs).
Who would pay that for a guy who clearly has no ambition whatsoever apart from getting a regular wage and a free seat at every Premier League ground over the season.
-
When I thought the thread title I thought they were comparing Barcelona and Birmingham City! Lol!
-
If Pique's available for £15m, then bid £20m for him pronto
Everyone's overlooking the most unbelievable............. Stuart Taylor £3m
-
One thing Man City will never have is a 5 star superstar like Messi, Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane, Figo. They will be playing for Manure / Barcelona / Real Madrid / AC Milan or Inter Milan

I don't know. Tevez, Silva and Aguerro are all very close to that set of players for skill. In fact I would replace Beckham for one of those three any day of the week.
-
Yeah, let's see what happens when they meet up for real and Barca tear them a new arsehole.
