Interesting survey:-

Think our costs have crept closer to other clubs in the last few years.

£100 fucking £100 to watch Arsenal - is that the cheapest seat?

No wonder the fans are booing before a ball is kicked

We are the 5th cheapest team to watch yet if you take into account the fan base of the teams above us, their location in the "poorer" North then fair play to us i say

£100 for Arsenal - unfuckincuntybelievable  :o

I hadn't reaised how expensive it is to watch Newcastle, until I saw an article in 4-4-2. Sunderland are about the same price as us.

It was like £550 to sit by the half way line for us and over £800 for Newcastle.

It seems a lot of money to pay out to watch a football match in North London.

The trouble is, as much as it appears to take the piss, attendances across the board are about as high as they've ever been.  Until that changes the clubs will carry on putting the prices up.

No, it's the most expensive ticket bracket which represents just 1% of the total tickets available.  Their cheapest is £35.

With regards Newcastle, I don't believe for one moment that they are the joint cheapest in the league for a day out which is what that report indicates.

Interesting that the 3 promoted sides are up there with the most expensive.  Looking at the other divisions it's worth noticing that the cheapest day out in League 2 is only a quid cheaper than Bolton and that if we were in the Championship with our current prices we'd be about 10th cheapest still.

As somebody once put it Sperms are the only club where the supporters are richer than the players.

Newcastle refused to give their prices for the survey. The only club in England that did so.

Not according to the actual survey, they have them down as the joint cheapest.  Someone's made an error somewhere.

Looks like they were given Blackburn's prices.

It takes a pretty liberal definition of 'value' to come to that conclusion too having witnessed Blackburn's performances at VP over the past few years.

They'd have to pay me to go there every fortnight.

1992 FA Cup third round. More expensive to park there for the replay than get into Villa Park for the original tie.
