Post by: Damo70 on July 27, 2011, 05:35:29 PM: I love the story Tony Morley tells on the Champions DVD about Ron Saunders threatening to 'rest' him for the game against his boyhood team with all his family and friends due to come (hence the gesture to the bench after the goal). I also remember, whilst a lot of people point to the home win against Liverpool a few weeks earlier giving genuine belief we could win the league, a lot of the media seemed to get 'on board' after this game.

My old man said the same.

The game used to be on ESPN classics quite a number of times a couple of years ago.

It's about time they resurrected some of these matches again.
