The fixtures for next season are out tomorrow at 9am.
Premier League (http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headlines/0,,12306~2373426,00.html)
Who would you like first?
I'll accept anyone except one of the newly promoted clubs but if I had to pick one it'd probably be Stoke away. Not for football reasons, it's one of the away games I really want to go to next season and I've heard it's a cold stadium. Therefore going in August would be good.
-
It is a very cold stadium. Try not to sit/stand near the gaps.
-
Someone crap at home.
-
QPR at home
-
Someone crap at home.
Aye, Blackburn would suit me.
-
Norwich away, for the reason that's my birthday weekend and I wouldn't mind spending it in Great Yarmouth.
:)
-
anyone at home
-
start with a nice day out, away at Fulham.

-
Away so I can have a extra week to plan when I am can on holiday !
-
Wigan at home, let Dave Whelan have it!!!
-
It's Bolton away.
-
Someone who Cameron Jerome will score against.
-
Blose at home..... well we will be wont be ...
-
It's Bolton away.
You seem definate ?
-
Id like Swansea away in August or May. Be a nice excuse to vist friends in Pembrokeshire for the weekend. First home to be someone beatable. Everton away always seems to be on my birthday!
-
It's going to be one of the "big boys", just to add pressure to AM. I can see us being given the fixture list from hell to start the season.
Ideally, Blackburn at home. A real ground filler of a fixture.
-
Someone away so AM can get a win under his belt before his Villa Park debut.

"Someone away so AM can get a win under his belt before his Villa Park debut."
Agreed!!
-
Man utd, Chelsea or man citeh away, we'll play them off the park with McLeish's attacking football and win 3-0.
I can dream can't I.
-
Hopefully Manure away. Jerome hat-trick in front of the Stretford End!
The future's not bright, it's ginger and sweaty.
-
I'd like an easy one.
We will, however, get a difficult game. Hopefully Chelsea away as I have that in the sweepstake.
-
I dont want a promoted side. They nearly always come out of the blocks like a dog with ten dicks and love it, plus we'd be expected to clatter them and I'd rather ease into the season.
Somebody like Wigan away would do nicely. Give them a good bollocking and then the pressure will be off fucking eck a little bit to make his home debut.
My gut feeling is that it will be Bolton at home.
-

Agreed!!
Yeah, cos he's famous for setting up teams to win away games
-
Bolton at home
-
If it were (for example) Wigan at home, how many would bother to turn up?
Being optimistic, It'd be nice to play, and beat, a big name so that we'd come away thinking things ain't so gloomy after all. Like the 3-1 v Man U in Brian Littles first full season.
-
A tough away fixture.
If we beat Man Utd, Chelsea or Arsenal away on the first day, then have our first home game v Wigan and stuff them, these dark days will be long forgotten. 8)
-
It will be Swansea away , lunchtime kick off.
We will lose.
Our inept manager will not pick darren bent.
Bit like Pompey away a few years ago when the inept manager(o Leary) didn't play mellberg
I can foresee alot of comparisons with o Leary over the next season or so.
How has it come to this ??
-
Looking a bit further ahead, I reckon we'll get Blues away in the Carling Cup!
-
Blackburn or Wolves at home or Fulham away I would take any of these teams we need to start with a win and these are winnable games.
-

Guaranteed to draw them in one of the cups
-
Does it matter who we play? Really? The deed is done.
The dark side has enveloped the light.
-
nice easy game at home will do me!
-
Stoke or wigan away would be nice
Would also quite like wanky at home
-

The next time you see me wearing a hat, you have permission to put a pineapple up my bum.
-
Anyone at home
-
Quite the opposite. Anyone away - get a good result on the road, come back to VP the next week to smiling faces and generous applause.
-

spooky :o
-
Villafirst, there is a good chance with this manager we will already be out of the Carling Cup when Small Heath enter it. They are exempt untill the 3rd round
-
Yeah, this manager couldn't win the Carling Cup if his life depended on it.
Oh.. wait..
-
"Mcleish wins the Carling Cup in successive years with two rival teams" Wow that would be some headline ..........
-
"McLeish wins the FA Cup with Villa" would be even better, the noses at work would avoid me for weeks :)
-
Yes Summers, but villa wont draw the likes of MK Dons, Rochdale ,Brentford a Villa reserve side ,West ham worst prem side will they
