So given we've lost a category AA game against SHA and West Ham, who for some reason were classed as A, then it appears to me they'll be a few cheap games to be had at VP next season.
From the top of my head I'd expect Bolton, Wigan, Blackburn, Sunderland, Norwich, Swansea, Fulham and possibly QPR it it's midweek to all be cheapo games next season.

I hope we keep Ash, make 4 or 5 Stella signings and have a 10 match winning start to the season.
Which would hopefully mean 42k every other week at Villa Park resulting in no cheap tickets!
But on the other hand yeah there will be a few cheap games.

You doing your budgeting for Aug - May ?? ;-)

If the home games come before January, I'd think the three promoted teams will be category VV unless they're the opening game of the season, but I'd expect us to be away for that fixture since we've had the last three (or is it four?) at VP. After January I'd think the club will decide which teams are doing well enough to charge more for.

I also reckon there will be some cheaper games this season with the quality of the teams we face not being category AA games does it work out cheaper if you buy cheap tickets game to game instead of season tickets I was just wandering.

I'll be interested to see how they price the Cup games after Can'tbearsedthey'llbeatusanywaygate.

I'd bet the mix of games per category will be exactly the same, if not slightly more skewed towards the more expensive tickets. The club will just 'promote' games from lower to higher levels. It's a clever way of increasing matchday prices without anyone noticing.
