Injuries have caught up with stripey:

Did DOL sign him?
I always liked him as a Villa player.
ALways looked like he was going to burst out crying.
-
I'll never forget the great trick he did cheekily wiping chalk on the ref while pretending to pat his back.
I liked him too, he was good, not a great, but good.
-
The white Reo-Coker.
-
Shame. Not the greatest player we ever had but he always tried. Wish him all the best.
-
A likable, yet limited, player.
-
A solid, unexciting player but he came at the right time for us, all the best Gavin
-
Arteta effectively ended his Villa career in 45 minutes by making him look like the cart horse he was.
-
He tackles and he passes,
He wrestles and harasses,
He gets up peoples asses,
He's better than zidane,
Gavin McCann (Clap, Clap)
Gavin McCann (Clap, Clap)
Gavin McCann,
Gavin McCann,
Gavin McCann...

If anyone can its Gavin McCann i used to say. Always liked him, he was decent in his first two seasons and brilliant in the first half season of MON's reign. Never let the side down and scored the odd long range goal or two. Remember his debut at Pompey when he ended up with a bandaged head - here was a man not afraid to take a beating for the team.
-
I liked Gavin, a good hard working pro who always gave 100 per cent
-
I also liked Gavin McCann good battler on the football pitch I wish him all the best for the future.
-
Always liked Gavin McCann. If all players had his attitude, managers would have it easy.
But what the hell was going on with his hair ?
-
I thought when DOL arrived he realised what our priorities were in the transfer market on a limited budget and did well to get McCann and Sorensen. I think they were his only two summer signings in taking us from the previous seasons 16th to 6th. Shame it all went tits up after that.

2nded.

A tad harsh.
He wasn't a world beater, or anything like one, but was a decent signing for a modest fee at a time when that ws all we could realistically hope for. Although I hate to give him any credit, he was one of DOL's better signings and proved as close to value for money at £2m as you get these days.
Hope coaching goes well for him.

I thought his best spell for us was when MON first joined. He really looked comfortable on the ball, kept things moving, basically a completely different player. Never hid and always put in a shift. Good luck to him.

He loved a tackle as well

What better time to tell the world that we once had a wee together? Fulham away, he was injured and he came in to our pub for a whizz. Sad (& dull), but true.
