Title: Don't forget West Spam....
Post by: Fergal on May 22, 2011, 08:31:08 PM
Lets not forget the Spammers getting the boot.  I only know 2 Spammer fans and they are both first class pricks, arrogant and obnoxious.
I hate them almost as much as I hate the Noses, both have delusional sets of shitty fans who have ideas above their stations... WANKERS

MCLeish will be their next manager I reckon.

They have some decent young players there so I reckon they'll come straight back up.

I know quite a few West Ham fans, and they're just like us - football fans who passionately support a club. A club that. on the whole tries to play decent football and who have had, through no fault of their fans, a succession of shit owners. I've seen more "first class pricks" on this forum.

I know a few West Ham fans and they're all great lads, my only issues with their club are the owners (as my only problem with Blackpool is Holloway) and the media crowing about them constantly.  I'd much rather Wigan have gone down.

Mind you the Wigan boss seems a decent fellow.
My mates a Hammer, he's good as gold but even up to 2 weeks ago he was so adamant they would stay up. He also does believe West Ham won the World Cup.
What a fantastic day, I'm glad we didn't leave it to today as I don't think my heart could of taken it.

Geeza.

The only problem I have with 'Ver Ammers' is them stopping us winning the FA Cup the season before winning the League and then The European Cup. Actually, make that three problems. I have some time for Gold, but Sullivan and Kaz are quite difficult to warm to aren't they?

It's almost as if the football team a person follows tells you nothing whatsoever about their personality.

always had a little affection for the shirt-stealers: I refer to the Moore / Hurst / Greenwood days and the fabled (slightly imaginary) WHU academy.
I know a few WHU fans and they're generally good guys, although they have an 'orrible hard core following.

C'ship next season: the DogSh*t, Cardiff, Leeds, WHU and Millwall .... lovely.

Most of the West Ham supporters I've met over the years are as decent as most of the supporters of every other team.

A West Ham fan rang 6-0-6 tonight, he was really critical of the owners. Alan Green was agreeing with virtually everything the caller said.

As I say, I only know 2 and they are both cocks.  Still I know a few Sheffield Utd fans who are happy to see them go down.

I can't stand West Ham, and shall join Fergal in celebrating their demise.

Until the triumvirate of evil got involved I had no problem with West Ham, now I think its hilarious that thier land deal has gone tits up. I do feel sorry for the decent fans of West Ham to have those sickening people as owners.

Met a few Hammers fans over the years, all good lads, nothing like the other London clubs. If I had to choose a London team to support, it'd be them. Feel really sorry for them, they've had and still have real chancers running their club. KUMB is a decent forum too, well worth a read. Anybody that hates Spurs as much as they do can't be all bad.

Whilst the Porn Dwarfs and Brady are there, they'll always be a laughing stock.

Don't forget who ?
My first Villa away game was at Upton Park under BFR. Lost 3-1 after Tony  Daley put us 1 up.
They were pricks then....

I don't like the way they think they are big club.
I don't like the "we love Bobby Moore" when they did sod all to look after him.
I don't like the owners.
I don't like the fact they play in our colours.

I couldn't have picked three better clubs to go down.

When I watched our home match against Man Utd in a bar in Sydney earlier this season I had the misfortune of sitting near a West Ham supporter - grade A cock he was.

Saying that though I know about a dozen West Ham supporters personally and each of them are top blokes, so for them I feel sorry.

Never had a problem with West Ham or any of their supporters that I have known, but for the Tevez scam alone I have no real sympathy this time.

Don't have a problem with West Ham at all (beside the owners obviously). They always try and play good footie, have a good academy (like us). I'd like to see them back in the Premiership soon just with new owners - they're a curse!

I've never been that keen on West Ham and hate their owners, but I felt a bit sorry for them after we beat them 2-1 at Upton Park. I thought they might kick-off, but they all just looked resigned to their fate.

I know a lot of West Ham fans and a fair number of them are cocks. Then again, I know a fair number fans of a lot of clubs who are cocks. I knew a Birmingham fan who was a great bloke, a Man Utd fan who hates Man City with a passion despite never having been to Manchester, a really nice Liverpool fan who loathes Arsenal as he is from north London, several Arsenal fans most of which are great blokes until they start talking about football, and a number of Spurs fans who are, invariably, all cocks.

Oh and West Ham always trying to play good football is an urban myth. I've been watching them for years and can count on one hand the number of games they've played good football in.

Still, Millwall away next year. Every cloud and all that.

i used to hate west ham, but recently, i have mellowed a lot towards them...

in recent years, have had some good chats with west ham fans after the games, and even when they lost, or drew, they have been very gracious, very realistic, and decent overall...

im not sad to see them go, as i dont like brady the slag, the porno dwarf and wearwolf gold on tv every five mins standing in front of his mansion / helicopter (delete as applicable), waffling complete and utter nonsensical, but self absorbed drivel, but i do feel a bit sorry for some west ham fans i have met over the years... not all... just some...

Nice post Sendo and you are certainly right about the good football bit, sorry to say. Though it was true at one time back in the days of Devonshire, Brooking et al. I can think of a whole long list of teams I would rather see go down than West Ham. And if you ever meet a Hammer, at least you can be sure they are the real deal. That means a lot to me, living in the midst of your typical Chelsea 'I have been following them for 30 years, no honestly' chavs...I was very sorry for you mind you

I've known quite a few 'Ammers over the years and they've been 'top geezers'. Always had a bit of a soft spot for them until the arrival of their new owners and now take great delight in their misfortunes.

Not knowing any West Ham fans personally, I just assume they're all very similar to Danny Dyer.

And therefore wankers.

Know a few west ham fans. Annnoying but not on a spurzz fan level. The saddest thing i can say about them in both the "ah bless, its a pity" and  "god they're thick" definitions of the word is they actually thought sullivan and  Gold were better than the Icelandic berks and couldn't understand why i found Brady & Co. taking over their club so funneh.. Martin Samuel the fat ugly beardie journo defines them for me - he still seems to put the blame firmly at Avram Grant's door for their relegation and sort of dismisses the owners appointing him and then undermining him at every opportunity as almost an irrelevance. Give them a year in the championship and the penny will drop

Lived in the U.S since moving from Brum 17 years ago. Neighbour is an exiled West Ham and we've become best mates. Unlike the Bluenoses who have suddenly gone offline he never hides when we beat em or since they got relegated. While its acknowledged many spammers are complete c#nts. he's put wham in favorable light from my point of view and I feel really sorry for them that the porn dwarf is poisoning their club

Actually, make that twelve... forgot Leeds!

Just to reiterate what Ms Brady has had to keep reminding the press. The board based their business model for the move to the new stadium on both a Premier league scenario and a Championship scenario. so there is absolutely no pressure for them to return to the top flight before the move. Personally I'm sure that's correct and the next manager will be aware there is no pressure in this respect.

We know what they're like, but compared to Magnusson, Gudmundson and Straumur, they're at least putting money into the club.

Oh how I long for the days of Terrence Brown. I never thought I'd find myself saying that.
