So Delia's lot are back in the prem, and strangely I think they'll do okay.
Oh joy of joys.
-
I like Norwich, well done.
-
It'll be good to see them back. I hope Forest will also come up - it'll be like a little early 90s reunion.
-
Have no problem with Norwich. Except that they killed themselves against us then lay down for Man U in 1992-93.
Seem a pleasant enough bunch. I bet Ipswich hate Middlesbrough even more now!
-
Good fans, good club.
Bit of a Blackpool, very attack minded but going to need to make a few signings to stand half a chance I'd say.
-
I like Norwich, well done.
One of my favourites too. Happy to see them back. I think we'll pip them to second again mind...
-
I've got nothing against Norwich at all, bloody great crowds to be fair, however no effing way will I be making the journey to Carrow Road next season, took 7 hours to get there last time for the most drab 0-0 in history.
-
It doesn't take long to get to Norwich. Which way did you go Luke, via Newcastle?
-
He walked there.
-
QPR, Narrrrich and Forest would be an ideal trio to come up. Congratulations Canaries!
-
Fair play to them.
-
I'd definately much rather them than Cardiff or Swansea.
-
My Uncle is a Norwich fan, he's lived there most of his life so I have a bit of a soft spot for them.
Less trouble than Cardiff coming up I guess.
-
It doesn't take long to get to Norwich. Which way did you go Luke, via Newcastle?
It was the official travel, there was some sort of roadworks, we ended up going via Cambridge and all the way up, it was the most draining journey i've ever been on.
-

It does if you get stuck behind a bloody tractor on the A roads. I went to that and we left VP by coach at 8and got there at 5 to 3.
-

Here, here!
Come on Forest for that playoff place.
-
I want to see Swansea make it personally. Always had a sodt spot for them, my mate's a Jack and I've never been to the Liberty. Anyone but Cardiff!
-
Everyone seems to like Norwich, they are the Lorraine Kelly of football.

Yep, I was on the same one.

I for one do not like Lorraine Kelly. What a knacker!
-
I'm glad they are back up. Always loved their kit because it reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in Erdington, playing football for Birches Green Junior school. Same home kit, great colours.

The A11 is much improved these days.
-
I went there last time we played them, Steven Davis made his debut as sub i think. Anyway, we were there for about half 11ish and had few pleasant pints near the ground. Seemed to take us an age to get back mind.

Same time next year!
-
Well, I am happy. Reminds me of my first trip to Wembley in 75
-
I hav a soft spot for them, so I'm happy. And I have always said thought that I'd like Paul Lambert at Villa.
-
Don't like Norwich.... hate Lorraine Kelly.
-
Norwich does look a bloody long way away. I've just Google Mapped it and it's 3 hours and the best part of 160 miles!
It's almost as far as Middlesbrough!
-
I want to see Swansea make it personally. Always had a sodt spot for them, my mate's a Jack and I've never been to the Liberty. Anyone but Cardiff!
What's wrong with Cardiff?

What's wrong with Cardiff?
I put their fans in with SHA, Leeds and Millwall.

They're a bit stabby.
-
Oh, and glad Norwich are up, good club, good support.

Well done Norwich and well done Paul Lambert! Bottom of the third tier to the Prem in two years. Maybe we could learn from the Canaries, they bought in the manager who's team spanked them 7-1 the week before! Chris Hughton maybe?
-
Always had a soft spot for the Canaries, despite them derailing our title bid in '93. Back to back promotions is bloody impressive. And Delia is a legend.
-
Last time I was there Jimmy Rimmer was pelted with coins by the canary yokels.
BTW, it only took 3 hours back then and that was before the A14 was built.
-
I was hoping it would be Cardiff.
1. I think Dave Jones deserved it. Good manager. Comes across as a good person. And he has had a lot of crap to deal with.
2. I have had some good nights and weekends in Cardiff.
-
Congratulations to them. Always liked Carrow Road in the 1990's.
-

I went to that one and the bloke next to me kept getting his cock out to the home fans, thankfully he got arrested after 15 minutes.
-
Much prefer Norwich to Cardiff. Here's hoping QPR get docked points and Swansea get lucky.
-
Well done NCFC - Carrow Rd was the 2nd football ground I went to in England.
-
Really glad Norwich are up. Spent many a happy Saturday afternoon at Carrow Road in my yoof in the late 60's/early 70's when I lived in Narrrfuk. Hope I can get a ticket to revisit next season
-
QPR Norwich & Forest would be good.
-
I'm glad that Norwich have come up they are a family club i remember there uefa cup run in the 90's played well it will be nice to see them back in the big time.
-
I dont like 'em. Didnt like 'em when John Bond was manager, he would try and wind us up all through the 74/75 season but we had the last laugh.
Anyway that Delia's an old frump, much prefer Nigella.
-
I can see another book coming on! 'Delia's Premier League Cooking'?
-
Good for them, When I've watched them I have been impressed with their attacking play. Got no beef with QPR either. Notts forest next please then I'll be happy
-
Here's hoping Cardiff bottle it as usual
-
hate ipswich, like norwich so all is good. more for the twat brazil to whinge about on talkshite
-
Been there three times....lost three times. Still, fair play to Paul Lambert and Narrrch. An excellent effort to get two promotions in a row.
And as Joecrow says, there's something to be said for anything that annoys Ipswich, even after all these years they still get my goat to some extent.
-
I don't like Norwich. Ever since Delia Smiths rant, I've just taken a disliking to them. A-HA!
-
Let's hope we can stay up to play them!!
-
Great memories of going there twice in a week. I recall we played them 3 times in the same week. Two draws at their place and Villa Park then a brilliant 2-0 win in the League Cup quarter final replay. Bloody long way though. I think we got back to Brum about 5 in the morning although we did stop off on the way back for a pint or two. Best memory was our coach sang 'The Bells are Ringing' for the whole journey back. And I mean the whole journey. Wonderful times.
-
wonder if Paul Lambert will now be in demand by other clubs ?

Never really liked them, can't put my finger on it though! Still, congratulations, great achievement for them
-

I don't understand why her ''rant'' would put you off them. She was clearly piddled but also showed how much her team meant to her. Nowt wrong with trying to rally the fans in such a way...indeed it takes some balls (or not in her case).
She's come a long way from the shy girl who demonstrated the best way to make a Victoria Sponge back in the day.
-
Everyone must be really excited in Norwich. I imagine they are high sixing each other as we speak !
-
If they carry on attacking in the manner they do (quite physical and reliant on the big fella up front) and we carry on defending in the manner we do I think we have two difficult games against them next season.
