Wilshere got Young Player. Bale is also in the team of the year, the rest of it being made up by players from Chelsea, Man U, Man C and Arsenal.
Premier League Team of the Year: Van Der Sar (Man Utd), Sagna (Arsenal), Cole (Chelsea), Vidic (Man Utd), Kompany (Man City), Nani (Man Utd), Nasri (Arsenal), Wilshere (Arsenal), Bale (Tottenham), Tevez (Man City), Berbatov (Man Utd).
Hasn't been a decent winner of the PFA main award since 1993 but then i am biased!

How did Scott Parker not make it into that team? Its a disgrace. Just because hes in a struggling team? I wonder when the last player from a lower half of the table side made it to the PFA team of the year? Le Tissier perhaps?
-
Meh.
-
Berbatov??!!
-
In the Year of which he is the Player of, how many games has Bale missed because of injury?
-
The year between August and January, which is when the ballots go out. It's a joke award really.
-
Laughable, no way does he deserve that
-
I don't think Bale deserved it, but if they believe hes player of the year, how the hell does he not win young player of the year also?
-
I could care more.
-
who votes for this ?
-

They didn't send the ballot papers out till march this year.
-
I'd have give it Parker.
-
Laughable award really, given the time when its voted on. why the hell don't they call it player of the season and vote in april so you don't get daft names like Berbatov appearing.
-
So does this make Warnock our player of the season?
-
who votes for this ?
Planet Of The Apes.
-
where was Leighton Baines in that team ?
-
Where was Charlie Adam? Holloway thought he was going to win it.
Who really cares anyway?

It's always March. It's a myth that it's January.
-
I think Bale should be allowed to keep the award in perpetuity. As the Best Player In The World, no-one will ever be able to rival his brilliance.
-
Every one knew who was going to win player and young player of the year award although I did say RVDV for the player of the year.
-
This is one great step for Pan kind. Not only did they beat humans into Space but now they're acheiving sporting excellence above their Homo Sapiens Sapiens overlords.
-
Parker not getting in that XI is a complete joke. If it wasn't for him, Wrist Ham would have been down weeks ago.
Not enough Manyoo players in there for my liking mind, maybe Carrick or Hargreaves should have got a sniff.
There's no good reason why they have to stop collating votes in January. I know many footballers are as thick as pigshit but I'm sure they could fathom out an online or text-based voting system.

Think about it ;-)
-
Before we criticise this, don’t forget that his is players voting for themselves.
Still at least we now know they know even less about the game than pundits
-
Parker was short-listed wasn't he? So how come he didn't even make the team of the season?
-
What a load of bollocks.
-
Always nice to see Welsh people winning things. Having said that I think Nasri should have got it.
-
It's a bit of a waste of time this year, nobody has consistently stood out all year. Lots of players have had good spells. I would have given it to Parker, but if they get relegated it would be a bit empty.

Perpetuity?
I like it, and does Demis:
-
What? No Steve Sidwell. Again? Why does this talented young man get continually overlooked for the big awards? Shocking. :o
-
Seamus Coleman has looked very good whenever i've seen him for Everton this season, but it was always going to be the new wonder kid Wilshere i suppose
-
As someone said earlier "Meh"
-
meh - but I've no problem with Bale winning it. Has looked good whenever I've seen him and I hold no malice towards him. *Shrugs*
-
Bleh
Hmmmph
Gaah

Are they the Greenland PFA nominees?
-
Parker was short-listed wasn't he? So how come he didn't even make the team of the season?
Because not enough footballers voted to put him in the team of the season?
I can't see why people get so excitable about this. It's a vote. The votes are added up. The people with the most votes are announced as the winners.
When you consider it's dimwitted footballers voting for it, how can anybody get even the least bit worked up about it.
-
true, its a toss-up between this and the press one which is the most clueless.
-
Is this the award that Ryan Giggs got 2 years ago when he only made a handful of appearances?
-
A PR system would be much fairer, but then you run the risk of the likes of Terry or Bowyer being elected......
