Warren Aspinall (http://www.birminghammail.net/birmingham-sport/aston-villa-fc/aston-villa-old-boys-network/2011/04/12/ex-aston-villa-star-reveals-how-he-tried-to-commit-suicide-97319-28509993/)
Allways wondered what happened to him

Good to see he's getting his life back on track. £1900 wages at a Supermarket? I'm in the wrong job!!
Always thought he had talent...
-
I'm glad he got the help he wanted and that he has got his life back on track just goes to show we never really know what goes through players minds when there career comes to an end.

Sounds like Warren was positively reserved compared to what Paul Merson spunked away on coke, booze and gambling (7 million plus his entire pension savings from what I remember from the Times articles the other week).
Glad Warren's got his life back on track, though, and it's good he's trying to get a sensible message across to the young players of today.

Fair play to him for getting his life in order, it sounds like he still has good things to say about the Villa.
