I will be in Oslo the weekend of the Newcastle game and was wondering if any visitors to the site are resident in this fair city and can suggest somewhere where I'll be able to watch the match. Maybe even meet up to watch? PM me if interested.
More generally, any suggestions for must see/do things in Oslo would be appreciated. I shall be there for about 3 1/2 days.
Cheers

For you or the searcher?

Thanks Frank, I'll drop him an e-mail.
Wiki- I've heard that it's very costly and have been googling cheap restaurants in Oslo in an effort to try and find some bargains. At least it means I shouldn't drink too much. In theory at least ...

I go over there for work a couple of times per year - nice place but oh so expensive. Doubt you will find a 'cheap' restaurant and in the airport expect to pay about £10.00 for a beer.
Also failed to find anywhere to watch the Villa - so if you find somewhere can you let me know.
Cheers

On a positive note, you'll probably have a constant semi on while you're there as the locals scrub up well
