Seeing Big face Platt on the T.V the other day,and with the unfortunate news of Chris Price the other week, got me thinking about the squad of 89/90,and which of them remain involved in football.
Being a bit old fashioned and lazy,im trying to do this off the top of my head and without help from google.
Obviously there's Sid who's deservedly got his promotion.Tony Daley who is fitness coach at Wolves.
Stuart Gray was recentley coach and caretaker manger at Burnley. Nigel Spink is now goalkeeping coach at Sunderland. Within the past couple of years we had the very sad news about Paul Birch. Cascarino is now(somehow) a writer for the Times.
After hearing him on the radio the other day, hopefully Our Lord is getting his life on track, and I thought i remember hearing that Derek Mountfield is an agent, but I may be wrong about that.
Thats about it for me,is there any obvious one's ive missed? Can anyone else join the dots and complete the squad?

It's one of the sides I can name of the top of my head:
Spink; Price, Gage, McGrath, Mountfield, Nielsen, Daley, Platt, Olney, Cowans, Ormondroyd.
Others: S Gray, Comyn, Cascarino.
-
Ian Ormondroyd was working for Bradford City's community scheme last time I heard.
-
I saw Andy Comyn recently around Sutton but I cant remember where so I dont suppose that helps us much. Kevin Gage is involved in a string of Leisure Clubs or gyms around the Sheffield area.
-
Quick wiki scan:
Mountfield - PE Teacher
Neilsen - Manager of Aalborg in Denmark
Olney - Financial advisor in Birmingham

Kevin Gage owns/runs a pub in Sheffield. My uncle was up there before the FA Cup match.

I think Derek Mountfield does a bit of radio work. Not sure whether he still has the tache. Kent Nielsen is Danish Prime Minister.
-
Mountfield still scores own goals when he turns out for the odd 5 a side match.

I like to know what our old players get up to when they finish playing hopefully they are well.
