How many African midfielders can we name that have come into the English game and been successful?Okocha is one. Pienaar to a lesser degree is another. Anyone else?

Essien is a definite. Zakora? A success? Sissoko? Muntari may have been but Portsmouth cashed in as soon as they could.

Charlie Ntamark & John Keister were a legends at Walsall.

Mulumbu at WBA doesn't look too bad a player, if he can string enough games together without being suspended.

Peter Ndlovu was more a striker but pretty useful all the same.

Just personal opinion, but I've thought he's been pretty nothingy since he scored that goal on his debut if I'm remembering correctly, but yeah I see your point he's not the worst.

Never played anywhere for Bolton other than central-midfield. And he joined Bolton when he was 27, he was hardly drawing his pension.
